Ye Shunying, a Falun Dafa practitioner, was visiting her friend in the city of Guanghan. Not long after she sat down, a group of police burst into the house. She was arrested and forced into a police van. Once inside the van she received a heavy blow to her head with a hard object and was knocked unconscious. By the time she regained consciousness she found herself lying in a hospital bed. After inquiring she was told that she had been in a coma for 7 days. Diagnosis by doctors indicated that she had multiple skull fractures. On top of that, she had already incurred more than $4,000 in medical expenses.
The perpetrator who hit Ye Shunying is a policeman from the Guanghan City Police Department and he never showed up at the hospital. Instead he notified Jianyang City Police to take Ye Shunying. Upon arrival, the Jianyang police found her lying unconscious, her body soaked in blood from the severe beating. Afraid of being held responsible for her critical condition, Jianyang police refused to take her into custody. Rather, they called her family to take her home. (Up to this point her family had no idea where she was). Her family had to borrow money to pay the medical bill.
Ye Shunying was fired from her job simply because she practiced her right entitled by the Constitution---to appeal in Beijing. She no longer had the means to maintain basic living. Even though she was extremely weak due to heavy blood loss, her faith and conviction to Dafa remain unfaltering.
Those vile policemen dared to commit an illegal arrest and ferocious beating in broad daylight, for no reason, and they tried to shirk responsibility afterwards. Yet they remain free from the prosecution of the law. Their conduct constitutes a severe violation of human rights and the law. They have breached the "Criminal Law" of the People's Republic of China and they have committed "intentional harm" and "attempted murder". These perpetrators think they can defy the Constitution, willfully carry out a felony and have utter disregard for human life with the full support of Jiang Zemin. They had better bear in mind the grave and eternal consequence of their misdeeds. Everyone must be fully responsible for his or her own conduct.
We urge all kindhearted people to pay close attention to this incident and to help suffocate the evil.

Practitioner Zhu Junxiu was arrested by police in Xiaojia Village of the city of Chengdu on October15. The police did not notify her family of her arrest within the time frame established by law. Even worse, the police refused to acknowledge her arrest even when the family inquired directly. This denial included Mr. Zhang, the section head of the 1st detachment of the City Police Department. It was late November by the time her family finally found out that she was detained at the police station in theHuaiyuan Town of Chongzhou City. It was learned that she had been sentenced to one year of "labor education." She was transferred to the Ningxia Depot, waiting to be sent to the Women's Labor Education Camp located at the Nanmusi in Zizhong City.
After her arrest, the police broke into her house when no one was home. They did not notify her family nor did they have a legal search warrant. When the family members returned home they found large sums of money and valuable assets missing. Not surprisingly, the next day a large group of police from Xiaojia Village Police Station, Baijiatang Police Station, Qingyang Police Precinct, Chengdu City Police Station, and the Provincial Government Security Department showed up at her house. They located one of her family members and forced him to sign a search warrant they had prepared beforehand. It became evident that these police crooks were well aware that they had violated Section No. 39 in the Constitution. Yet, they knowingly broke the law while being law enforcement officers themselves. They behaved even lower than robbers because they were wearing police uniforms but doing the job of criminals. Worse yet, they confiscated Zhu Junxiu's son's computer and searched her home without finding what they were looking for. Still, they presented the computer as the "tool of Zhu Junxiu's crime." They never would have guessed that she happens to be computer illiterate. All she wanted to accomplish was to be a decent human being. What kind of crime could she possibly use a computer to commit? It is obvious that the evil is slandering Dafa and its practitioners at will.
