[Hong Kong] On the early morning of December 16, 2000, we, three practitioners went to Macao from Hong Kong by ferry. We were prepared to practice, submit an appeal letter and to validate Dafa most peacefully on the first anniversary of Macau's return to China.
When we approached Customs, we were refused entry. A little while later, several people brought us into a room. One practitioner, called A, was brought into another office. They asked her to fill out the form and then took her book-bag away. When a smaller bag was found in the book-bag, police asked her what it was. She said: "I am a Falun Gong practitioner. This book is Zhuan Falun, which is the book we always carry with us and read everyday." Then A continued to ask: "Why am I not allowed to enter Macau?" The other party was very angry after they heard this and said loudly: "What did you say?" Practitioner A peacefully asked the question again. The other party did not respond but let her leave.
At this time, police asked us to go with them and they wanted to send us back to Hong Kong. Practitioner B said: "Why do you ask us to go back? What have we done wrong? Is it because we practice Falun Gong?" The police who was escorting us did not say a word. B continued: "We are good people who practice Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance and we have a high moral standard. Right now, it is wrong that China's police persecutes Falun Gong practitioners. We came here to clarify the truth of Falun Gong to Macao's special district government. We have not committed any crime." At the same time, we handed these police materials regarding the Fa (Law and principles) but they did not dare to accept them.
The attitude of two of the policewomen was very bad. I said: "We are not willfully making trouble." We just asked two questions: 1. What law in Macau did we violate? 2. Is it true that we were refused entrance to Macau because we practiced Falun Dafa? These two policewomen would not listen to us and they pushed another practitioner and me to the escalator. This way they sent us to the ferry. Along the way, practitioner B continued to tell them: "Falun Gong is the best. You must remember this!" One policeman kept nodding his head.
Our firsthand experience only served to confirm again that the evil Jiang Zemin is terrified of the most merciful and the most righteous Falun Gong. Before he went to Macau to celebrate the first anniversary of Macau's return to China, he employed the most strict means to block the most peaceful people and even threatened to"take all steps to stop"any peaceful practice of Falun Gong practitioners. At least seven Hong Kong practitioners were refused entrance to Macau this month.
