Persecutions in Changsha, Hunan Province

Practitioners from Changsha City, Mi-mi Tan and Fei Feng, have been detained since last August and September, for selling Falun Dafa books, and promoting and defending Falun Dafa. Their family members are not allowed to visit them. Moreover, their family members must pay about 1,000 Yuan per month to the detention center.

On January 23 of this year, they showed up in the public for the first time in the Fu-rong Court. The court has not sentenced them yet and will make the decision after the advising group from the central government visits Changsha on February 19. They are now being detained in the First Detention Center of Changsha.

Moreover, Mr. Yang Chen, Mr. Zhi-ming Cao and Ms. Li-ying Jiang were arrested in Beijing when they were exchanging experiences with other practitioner. Li-ying Jiang was secretly given a sentence of 2 years of forced labor. Yang Chen and Zhi-ming were given a sentence of 2 years in jail.
