Many Falun Dafa practitioners were tortured in Shengli Oil Field, Shandong Province

Falun Dafa has been falsely accused and practitioners have been tortured with inhumane treatments. In some area of Mainland China, the prosecution has become even worse recently. In Shengli Oil Field (Shandong province), many practitioners have been badly tortured since early February.

Just coming out of detention house, a practitioner named Guomin Yue was beaten for three days and two nights by 8 security personnel from his working place, simply because he still wanted to practice Falun Dafa. He was released only after being forced to write a "not to practice" guarantee.

Another practitioner named Jianjun Yang was put in detention house for one entire month. During that time, he was given only about half a pound of steamed bun and a bit of pickled vegetables to eat every day.

Being doubted as the organizer of group practice, practitioners Tianrong Zhou, Zhenglan Wu and Aiping Ja were also put into the detention house. They were all handcuffed with their hands on their back for one day, then handcuffed with their hands in the front for three days. The handcuffs made their hands swollen badly. The room was extremely cold with wind blowing in easily, and some prisoners have been frozen to death there. Falun Dafa practitioners were put in prison for a total of one month. After hunger striking for seven days, they were sent back to their working places. They are facing punishment by asking to do forced labor. While practitioner Tianrong Zhou is retired, the other two practitioners have long been fired.

A couple in Shanghua district were handcuffed to electric poles for one month and under ward by several guards. They have been fined some 17,000 Yuan RMB (about $2,000) and were still not released.

Together with 15 fellow practitioners, practitioner Haixia Wang was also detained during the Chinese Spring Festival. After doing a hunger strike for 5 days, they were sent back to their respective working places where they were still detained. Practitioner Wang was detained in a dark, empty room. She had to pay for all the expenses, with her parents delivering food to her. She was also fined in addition to all the expenses. Her older sister Haiyan Wang was arrested when petitioning in Beijing and was facing the punishment of forced labor together with a fine of about 10,000 Yuan RMB. Another older sister of her was put into a small, empty room (with no bed) alone after coming out of detention house. She was transferred to another room after weeks under ward by two people. Practitioner Haiying was given only one steamed bun to eat every day, but was not allowed to sleep. Although shw was beaten by 8 strong men, her determination to cultivate Falun Dafa is harder than rock. Now practitioner Haiying is detained in her working place. Since she is doing a hunger strike, whether she is still alive is unknown.

Another practitioner named Hui Xie was detained for one week, simply because he wrote a petition letter to the managing department of the Oil Field.

Practitioner Zhongyuan Tang (67 years old) was also detained for 10 days because of practicing Falun Gong.

Still many other practitioners were persecuted and tortured. With little information available, it is hard to know how they are doing. As practitioners in Shengli Oil Field, we sincerely hope that the Chinese government would wake up soon and stop their persecution to Falun Gong, and resolve the Falun Gong issue peacefully.
