[Beijing] Practitioners Sent to Labor Camps
Recently, practitioners who had unfurled Falun Dafa banners on the Tiananmen Square were given forced-labor. In Xi-cheng district alone, over 40 practitioners were given forced-labor and are being detained in the Tuan-he Labor Camp. Some practitioners (most of them are females) have been on hunger strike for 8 days.
[Mi-yun, Beijing] Practitioners Suffer The Torture of "Being Fixed to A Board"
Ms. Guo Jing-xia was detained for refusing to give up Falun Gong. During her detention, she experienced the torture of "being fixed to a board". She was fixed to a wooden board and could not move. Her wrists were fixed to the board by iron hoops; her ankles were fixed by iron teethed-hoops; her thighs, lower abdomen, chest, and two arms were fixed to the board respectively by a leather belt. Sometimes, the guard had the board upside down so that she would feel more miserable. Ms. Guo had suffered such torture for 10 days. During that period, she could not use the toilet. She had also been on hunger strike for 40 days and had been force-fed for many times. Under such inhumane mistreatments, Ms. Guo did not give up her belief in Falun Gong. Recently, she was given one year of forced-labor.
Ms. Zhu Tian-cui was detained for 30 days for appealing. During the detention, she suffered the torture of "being fixed to the board" for 8 days.
Ms. Su got detained for 30 days for appealing. During the detention, she suffered the torture of "being fixed to the board" for one day.
Mr. Liu Xue-cheng was given one year of forced-labor because he got involved in collecting signatures for an appealing letter.
In May, some practitioners got detained for continuing to practice in the public areas or study the books of Falun Gong together. A fellow practitioner said that the detention has detained practitioners starting from the Chinese New Year (February 4) up to now.

Practitioner Liu Gui-jin from Tang-shan City, He-bei Province, was sent to the hospital for emergency treatment, as a result of the torture from the local police. Detailed information is coming.
The local authorities are monitoring practitioners closely and not allowing practitioners to leave their work or travel. They even control the business trips of practitioners.
[Cheng-du City, Si-chuan Province] Among the 200 practitioners who got arrested during a Falun Dafa experience sharing conference in the Nan-jiao Park on May 20, over 100 practitioners have already been transferred to the detention center of Jiu-ru Village, after a 3- -days- stay at the drug-rehab center.
