Promote Dafa to Police and the Neighborhood Committee
Since July 21, 2000, I have been detained in police substations three times and in a detention center once for coming out to protect the Fa [law and principle]. Since then, policemen from different district levels and the leaders of the neighborhood committee visited me many times. The police substation, my work unit's security department, and neighborhood committee have all interrogated me. I have only one thought for all of these, which is to promote Dafa [great law and universal principle] to them, tell them the truth of Master Li and Dafa, help them to realize the government's mistake of suppressing Falun Gong. I want to save them and help them break away from the control of the evil.
I feel that they are unlucky from the bottom of my heart. There were only several people who damaged the Fa [from my understanding of Master's words]. We should help the majority of the law enforcement officers to develop their Buddha nature and repress their demon nature. Whenever I was confronting them, I always wisely and calmly clarified the truth of Dafa to them according to their questions, disclosed rumors and lies, and encouraged them to separate away from the wicked. I also advised them not to ruin their own eternity by being used by the evil. I always changed my position from passive to active in dealing with them. They began interrogating me and ended up agreeing with me. A policeman from the police substation visited me frequently. And I treated him as a friend. Every time he came to interrogate me and tried to persuade me, I always persuaded him in the end. Gradually, he stopped calling Master Li by a name. Then he switched from "your Master" to calling him "Master" directly. Once he called me on the road from far away "Hi, do you know that Master just published a new article?" I said, "Yes, I know. You should read more from Minghui [clearwisdom.net in English]. If you have any questions, just come to me".
At the very beginning, the directors of our neighborhood committee were biased by television, newspapers and propaganda. They disliked Dafa and me. We became friends after I clarified the truth to them. They also explained to those who did not understand Dafa. They told them, "Those who died from disease haven't done things according to Dafa's requirement. For example, Dafa requires them to be honest. But they weren't. So this won't work." The policemen from the city public security bureau and district public security bureau interrogated me respectively. They concluded, "When we want to cultivate, we will come to you."
At present, some of our fellow practitioners have been registered for having come out to validate and protect the Fa. They dare not to come out to protect the Fa continually with the excuse of being watched over closely. I feel that they should change this situation. If we could spread the Fa with compassion, the different levels of law-enforcement officers who watch over us closely are the best targets for us to clarify the truth.
In the whole process of harmonizing the environment, I deeply experienced what Master had said, "Regardless how bad a matter is, and even if it is as hard as steel, it has to dissolve in front of the Buddha Law's compassionate mighty power. Hence the demons are scared at the sight of compassion. They are really scared, because they will dissolve and be eliminated. It is absolutely not as imagined by humans."
Promote Dafa Nobly
Over the past half year, Master Li clearly indicated again and again how we could take the last steps well. I keep in mind what Master has taught us. What we do for Dafa is for ourselves as well. We shall give up all attachments and make a full stride. I will spread the Fa wherever I need to.
When I distributed Dafa materials on the streets, I felt a mixed feeling at the beginning. I felt that I was not dignified. I analyzed myself and realized that this was something of an everyday person. The wicked beings are arresting practitioners. They don't allow us to tell the truth. We don't want to be taken away casually, nor should we stop telling the truth because of the evil's existence. We come out to validate Dafa and clarify the truth because they slander and persecute Dafa. As long as we are dignified and not for our own interest, any approach to protect the truth of the Buddha Law is wisdom. The mixed feeling I had was nothing but an attached conception of a superficial formality among human beings. I believe it is wise to use pseudonyms to promote Dafa for the practitioners who are wanted by the police.
Some individuals believe, to echo, and spread the nonsense of the so-called "transformed people". It is because they have not detached from the base of maintaining a human being's mentality. Master had brought up the issue seriously in "Digging Out the Roots". They have not resolved this critical issue in their cultivation and it is hard for them to pass the test. This may be the problem.
After having enlightened to these, I focused myself on saving people calmly and wisely. I always finished my tasks smoothly. Once I was distributing Dafa materials in a different area. I did not get a chance to distribute the materials after walking a long way. What made it worse was that I got lost. I also walked by policemen patrolling with cell-phones in their hands, I thought about quitting since it was not smooth. Then I wondered, "Shall I compromise to the difficulties? How can a God be perplexed by tribulation?" Then I decided to hand out all the materials no matter how late it would be or how far I had to walk. Once this thought came out, a voice came to my mind, "Child, move forward!" I walked faster. I finished distributing all the material and found my way again. I was moved to tears thinking that Master Li is testing his disciples and helping us to improve all the time.
Promote Dafa in Other Provinces with a Pure Heart
When I went to another province to promote Dafa, the first conflict I ran into was that local practitioners did not know or trust me. Especially with the current situation, they have to investigate me carefully. I felt uncomfortable. I thought, "I come with funds to help you promote Dafa. But I am spending money and getting blamed." At times I wanted to leave as soon as possible. But as I reconsidered, I knew that I only suffered tribulations from a few practitioners. Most practitioners and I got along really well once we started our conversation. In fact there were many things that needed to be done to promote the Fa. On the other hand, how can we improve and make progress without conflicts or tribulations? "It is not a job, but cultivation practice." "A cultivator of Dafa should only upgrade his xinxing and improve his fruit status and level in his cultivation practice." ["It is not a Job, but Cultivation Practice"] "There is no fame, self-interest, or official titles in Dafa, but only cultivation practice."["A Heavy Blow"] "Any work in Dafa is intended for people to obtain the Fa and for disciples to improve themselves." ["Sober-Minded"] Aren't these teachings of Master enough to enlighten me that this was my cultivation environment arranged by Master? Master wanted me to get rid of all human mentalities and demon nature in the new environment. I should cherish it and look inside unconditionally. I must improve and advance forward together with the other practitioners. I cannot treat conflict with a human heart. Otherwise I am not Master Li's genuine disciple. After one month's friction with local fellow practitioners, they gradually understood me and trusted me. In the meantime, we eliminated some of our demon nature, and upgraded ourselves. Dafa is boundless. It is totally up to your heart to cultivate.
I deeply enlightened that Master Li cares about every disciple's cultivation and improvement. As long as you have attachments, he will expose them by all means and make you get rid of them, and improve yourself. I must remember Master Li's words by heart, cultivate inward and seek inside when facing all kinds of tribulations. Only by doing so, can we make every step right on the path towards consummation that is arranged by Master Li, and can one "shine with pure radiance no matter what environment he's in." Grasp Every Opportunity to Promote Dafa
One day, I went to dine in a restaurant. I read Zhuan Falun while waiting. A young waitress stared at my book and whispered to me in surprise, "What are you reading? Isn't it a Falun Gong book forbidden by the government?" I took this chance and loudly clarified the truth to her and told her the evil's brutal persecution of Dafa. There were 4 to 5 other people listening. A middle-aged man sitting opposite me listening carefully. He later told me, "I have heard about Falun Gong before. I have never read the book. I really want to read it." I said, "You look like a person with predestined relationship. I have only this copy left. But I will give it to you. This is a priceless book. Please treasure it." And then I got his telephone number, so that I can know about his Fa studying and help him to get in contact with local veteran practitioners.
This experience made me realize that we should not miss any chance to spread the Fa. There are many predestined people waiting for us to help them. As long as we have the sense of responsibility to "assist Master in the human world", as long as we have the compassion to help people, we will be able to eliminate the evil completely.
Clarify the Truth in Casual Conversation
Recently, I went to a convenience store to make a call using the public telephone. The shopkeeper complained to me, "There are too many thieves nowadays. But nobody cares. The iron plate on the store door was damaged by a sledge hammer at night." I seized the chance to spread the Fa to her. I said, "The government is focusing on suppressing Falun Gong. They don't take care about those who really harm society. Falun Gong teaches people to cultivate their hearts, and to become good people with 'truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance'. However, the government brutally persecutes those who want to be good people. And the police arrest good people. There is nobody to take care of the bad people. Under such circumstances, how can we not have lots of thieves in society?" She thought and then said, "The policemen in charge of Falun Gong said that Falun Gong is an underground organization that takes advantage of the retired old cadres who are not satisfied with the party and attempts to overthrow communism." I said, "These policemen are copying what their superiors said. They don't know the truth. They just spread their superior's words. The wicked Jiang Zemin and his followers have controlled and used the current government. They confounded black and white. They do not care about people's interests. Falun Gong is good for both the country and the people. But it is suffering such brutal persecution." I told her the truth of Falun Gong and the persecution of Falun Gong and Master. She suddenly understood and said, "So that's what it is!"
