(Clearwisdom.net) On September 17, 2001, at around 8 p.m., Su Yan, the head officer of the Zhanqian Police Station in Liaoyuan City, Liaoning Province, and two other policemen came to the home of practitioner Ms. Yang Jianming (pseudonym). They tried to arrest her. Ms. Yang had already gone to bed at that time. Seeing that she had no intention of going with them, one of the policemen made a phone call, and four additional policemen arrived shortly afterwards. They arrested Ms. Yang by force and took her back to the police station. When Ms. Yang refused to speak, they started to beat her. They tried to force Ms. Yang to confess to everything they had made up, saying that if she did not confess, it would mean that she had no respect for the police. Due to the beating, the 64-year-old lady's body started to tremble. But every time she trembled, the police would hit her. They asked whether she had been to any other practitioners' places for a visit. When she refused to answer, they beat her again. They then attempted to force the old lady to curse Teacher and Dafa. When their demand was refused, the policemen started to torture her. Those evil policemen were utterly inhuman, and were extremely ferocious. They kept beating Ms. Yang with the handle of an umbrella for four hours. The old lady, who firmly believes in the universal truth, was so severely beaten that her body was covered with black and blue bruises. After the torture, they released Ms. Yang because of lack of evidence.

On October 24, 2001, some time after 2:00 pm, Ms. Yang Jianming was arrested again by the police from Beishou Police Station, Liaoyuan City, while she was clarifying the truth and exposing the the evil to the public. She was sent to Liaoyuan Detention Center.
We warn those who are following Jiang Zemin and his gangs that they must release the illegally detained Dafa practitioners immediately. Good will be rewarded with good, and evil with evil. This is the course of nature. If you don't show remorse, retribution is not far away.
