On December 11, 2001, the mayor and council of the Borough of Tenafly, New Jersey passed a resolution supporting Falun Gong practitioners' right to uphold their beliefs. A copy of the resolution was forwarded to President Bush and Falun Gong practitioners in New Jersey, respectively.
