Thank you, my Teacher, for all the suffering you endure for me.
Thank you kindhearted people around the world for helping to rescue me.
I hope practitioners in China can provide more information about the persecution and expose it on the Clearwisdom.net website. Even a perpetrator's phone number will help kindhearted people around the world to rescue practitioners persecuted in China.
Please, stand up and tell everyone around the world of the urgent necessity to rescue Falun Gong practitioners persecuted in China. Even a phone call can make the evildoers tremble.
1. In Tiananmen Square in Beijing
On November 8, 2000, I went to the Tiananmen Gate Tower to unfurl a Falun Dafa banner. When I was at the security gate, a search of my bag turned up the banner. Police immediately took me into a room in the Tiananmen Gate Tower and called for a police car. He asked me what I was doing there. I said, "Falun Gong practitioners are deprived of their right to appeal. I have to use this way to say what I want to say, 'Falun Dafa is good'."
I was put into a police van with about ten policemen. I was the only practitioner. The police asked me to sit close to the window and said, "You are lucky because you are a young kid. Otherwise, we wouldn't treat you so nicely. One blow would throw you down onto the ground." They sent me to the Beijing Public Security Department in Tiananmen District. The first thing was to have my picture taken while standing in the hallway. I did not want them to take my picture. A police officer came with a camera but was unable to see anything through it. Several police came over and expressed their surprise. The police said, "What? How come I cannot see her through the camera? She must be a real Falun Gong practitioner." I knew my teacher was helping me and I felt very happy.
Several policemen came to me and began to slander the Minghui website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom) and our Teacher. I told them what they said was not the truth, but they would not listen to me. I kept silent afterwards and would not talk with them anymore. They pointed at a handcuffed male practitioner in the room and said, "Look, this is your fellow practitioner. Look at him." The practitioner was in his 20s, looking very tired. His head hung lifelessly. He had been tortured to such an extent that it seemed he could not hold himself up any longer. The police threw my banner to the ground and stepped on it. Seeing what the police were doing, the male practitioner, one hand handcuffed, used all his effort to move toward the banner little by little, trying to save it from the police. The police laughed at him, "Look, having been beaten so hard, he's still trying to get the banner." A policeman kicked him down to the ground and kept on fiercely kicking him. The practitioner suffered all this without saying a word. Then the police grabbed his hair and slammed his head against the wall violently. He was still silent. Watching this, my heart was in deep shock. I had never seen such police brutality. I said, "You should not beat him. Indeed, arresting us is wrong. You, the police, are supposed to protect good people, but instead you break the law and beat us. We are good people." I started to silently recite the verse for Fa-rectification.
The police claimed the practitioner did not obey them. As punishment they pulled his other arm away from the one already cuffed, forcefully stretching it over top of a chair and then cuffing it to another chair.
At same time, they asked for my name and address. I did not tell them. I was locked up in a cell with iron bars. There were nine practitioners in it. I saw a male practitioner who had been badly beaten. His left eyelid was cut open and his nose was bleeding. His wife told us he could not stand because he had been violently beaten to the ground while opening a Falun Dafa banner in Tiananmen Square. I saw fifteen practitioners in total in detention here. Five of them were taken away by their liaison office.
In the afternoon, the police carried in a male practitioner. We immediately sat him on the only chair we had in the cell. I thought he had been wounded internally by the police. In the evening, he began to vomit. He was silent all the time and his eyes were only partly open.
At 3pm, we began to send forth righteous thoughts and share experiences. We finally decided to go on a hunger strike and demand our unconditional release.
People from different liaison offices in Beijing came to look for their local practitioners. They looked at the practitioners one by one. We used this opportunity to clarify the truth of Falun Gong to them. At 7pm, a female section chief from Pinggu County Public Security Bureau brought a big van to transfer us to a new location. We were forced to squat in the van's aisle. One hour later, at 8:15pm on November 8, 2000, ten of us practitioners (four females and six males) arrived at the Pinggu County Detention Center.
2. We Cultivators of Falun Gong are Innocent. We Should Not Cooperate with the Evil Forces Under Any Circumstances.
I heard the sound of the iron-gate of the prison, a sound that few people my age have heard. I was imprisoned. We were led to a room and ordered to have our photos taken, to be fingerprinted and to have our heights measured and recorded. I was the first one. A policewoman slapped my face because I did not cooperate with them. My face felt immediate pain and quickly became quite hot. She slapped and bullied me but ridiculously accused me of pinching her. Before taking a physical examination, the police ordered me to say "Report" before stepping into the room. I was not a criminal and refused to behave as a jailed criminal saying, "Report." When I was under physical examination, there were a bunch of police crowded at the door looking inside. A doctor pointing at me and asked them, "Who wants this one?" Policemen Zhang Lijun and Zhu Xiaosong responded and led me to the interrogation office in Hanzhuang.
They asked for my personal information. I refused to answer and began to silently recite the Fa-rectification verse. They interrogated me for ten minutes and then stopped, but did not allow me to sleep. They chatted for a while and then asked me a few questions. Around midnight, policeman "A" (male, around 37 or 38 years old, a little thin) came in and asked them, "How come you have not gotten anything from her?" Policeman Zhu Xiaosong said, "She won't talk." Policeman "A" ordered me to stand up. I refused. He fiercely kicked my legs for a while and then ripped out my hairclips and the elastic band holding my ponytail, throwing them to the ground. He pulled my hair with both hands and dragged me up from the chair. He pushed and pulled me left and right. I could feel that my scalp was about to tear. He suddenly let me go, dropping me to the floor. He then began to kick me and even tried to stand on me, but I evaded him. Policeman Zhu Xiaosong picked up my hairclips and elastic band from ground and gave them back to me. I was led to the Judicial Office on the fourth floor. Four policemen watched TV and played cards and did not allow me to sleep.
At 6am on the following day, policeman "A" came again. When he saw my hair in a ponytail, he cursed my lack of a sense of beauty. Once again, he tore out my hairclips and the elastic band, this time throwing them out the window. He forced me to stand facing the window. I stood there and did nothing, but he threatened me saying, "If you do not listen to me, I will open the window and throw you out. Throwing a little kid like you is easy." He ordered me to stand at attention but I did not obey him. He kicked me. Seeing me still not following his orders, he kicked my legs. Since my hair was in a mess because of him, I used my hand to quickly comb my hair. He slapped me and said, "You dare to comb your hair." The police had eaten many snacks and had thrown their trash on the floor. Policeman "A" ordered me to clean it up, saying that previous practitioners locked in the room had obeyed his order to clean it. I refused to do so, "I am not an office maid to clean the office. You made the office dirty. I do not want to clean it. The previous Falun Gong practitioners cleaned the office for you because they were kindhearted, but I will not allow you to exploit my kindness." Hearing my words, he was chastised and became quite angry. He turned around to leave but suddenly came back, pulling my hair, shaking me violently and kicking my legs. I fell to the floor. He began to stamp on my heel from behind. He grabbed my hair and yanked my head backwards. I felt as though my scalp would be torn apart. I cried out loudly to let others know that he was torturing me. He let me go, so I quickly stood up because I feel that Falun Dafa students have their dignity and should not lie on the ground. He said, "You dare to shout." He jumped in front of me and pulled my hair, madly kicking me. Somehow I fell down on ground and he continued to kick me. Once again, I managed to stand up...
