[Minghui Net] Jiamusi Labor Camp has adopted force as a means of "transforming" Dafa disciples. They used what are known as the 'soft' and 'hard' methods, including brainwashing and corporal punishment, to torture practitioners. Since December 2000 , there have been three Dafa disciples tortured to death in the labor camp. They were:
- Tang Hong, female, 37 years old. On January 15, 2001, her family received the death notice. Police said she had written a letter before her death, but her family never saw it.
- Fang Cuifang, female, 40 years old. In early December 2000, her family received her death notice.
- A senior male. As usual, his death was listed as a "natural death".
Although the labor camp has attempted to completely deny any responsibility, three people have died there. They were all healthy before they were sent to the labor camp. All three were Dafa disciples, each with a high xinxing level. Just because they went to Beijing to appeal and to speak the truth, they were detained in the labor camp. In just a few months, they had died. This is ironclad evidence.
There was no statement, other than a death notice, devoid of any explanation.
However, such a vicious labor camp received an award from the government. In November 2000, Jiamusi City held a commendation conference and gave a ?0,000 (Chinese Yuan) bonus to police officers for their "achievement" in persecuting Falun Dafa disciples. They were also allocated a ?.6 million grant to construct new labor camps, for the purpose of detaining even more Dafa practitioners. Moreover, Jiang Zemin recently ordered that if Dafa practitioners were beaten to death, they were to be counted as suicides. It is because of this instigation by such morally corrupt individuals who currently occupy positions of power, that their henchmen in the labor camps dare to so mercilessly persecute Dafa practitioners.
Human life deserves utmost care. We strongly urge the appropriate departments to investigate this case and to punish the murderers according to the law.
Reported by practitioners from Mainland China.
