Solemn Statement

The repentance statements and pledges that I wrote under severe beating and torture are against Falun Dafa and have caused negative effects on Dafa, Dafa practitioners and the common people. I seriously and solemnly announce that all my statements against Dafa are now invalid, and I am doubling my efforts to compensate the losses I caused Dafa and catch up with the Fa-rectification process.

Solemn Statement

I went to Beijing to appeal in 2000. As a result of this, the security department in my hometown put me in illegal detention for 5 months after I returned home. During the Spring Festival, I was fined for practicing Falun Dafa. Later, my husband told me the truth about what had happened: a security officer wrote a pledge in my name and asked my husband to stamp his fingerprints on it on my behalf. I was very regretful after hearing this. I went to ask for the pledge back several times but failed. Now I seriously and solemnly announce that the pledge written by Security Officer Liu is nullified.

Solemn Statement

During the process of Fa-rectification, due to our shallow understanding of the Fa (Falun Dafa's laws and principles), misled by our human attachments, and under the pressure of the Chinese government, some of us were forced to write "pledges" or so-called "understandings" (denouncing Dafa). Some of us spoke some tricky or ambiguous words in order to deceive the wicked persons who held us captive and to pass the tests we faced. Now we all realize that what we spoke and wrote before, regardless of if they were against our wills, were all against Dafa and proving our lack of determination in Dafa. They were in fact no different than giving a hand to the evil. Now we seriously and solemnly announce that whatever materials we wrote, whatever wrong words we spoke previously, as long as they were not good for Dafa or for our cultivation, are now hereby proclaimed invalid. We are steadfastly catching up with the process of Fa-rectification, doing our best at each step to compensate for the losses we caused Dafa and striving to be qualified practitioners.
