Evil's Last Resort

Master Li says in Zhuan Falun, "When you feel very uncomfortable, it indicates that things will turn around after reaching the extreme point, and your whole body will be purified. It must be completely purified. The cause of your illness has been removed except for this little bit of black Qi which will come out on its own so that you will endure hardship as well as some pains." Hasn't the situation in China reached the extreme point? -- the self-immolation incident is probably the single most extreme example of the evil's attack on Dafa. However, within days, the credibility of this claim was severely shaken through many different reports, analyses, and investigations. Previously, the slander against Falun Gong and Master Li took much longer to clarify, exposing the fabrications and deceptions behind them took much longer, because the evil was more deeply rooted. The speed with which this latest slander is being clarified shows that the PRC is having real difficulty in discrediting Falun Gong, as their efforts, though terrifying and extreme on the surface, are quickly exposed because they are so pathetic, poorly orchestrated, and transparent. The evil has truly become powerless and superficial. If you think about it in human terms -- when the truth of the incident is exposed -- how much damage will this do to the reputation of PRC nationally and internationally? How much damage will it do to their claims that the attack on Falun Gong is justifiable? How much have they truly discredited themselves? As the saying goes, it is just another nail in their coffin. As when faced with the body purification, we should not take the worsening of the tribulation as something to be concerned about, but as an indication that the purification of the human world is progressing; that it has been cleared out in the other dimensions and is going through the final superficial phase where it appears to get stronger and extreme. Like the purification of the body, the deeper levels and dimensions have been purified, and what remains is just the superficial rootless karma for the purpose of enduring and enlightening. Of course, we should not slack off. Just as with the body purification, we must endure clear-mindedly and knowingly, and according to our understanding of the Fa. Master Li says in "Eliminate Your Last Attachments:" "Take every step well. Do not tarnish what you have already attained. Let the part of you that has fully cultivated glow with an even purer brilliance." For the practitioners in China, and perhaps the world over, things have become more extreme, but we must remember this is only on the surface -- let us embrace the Buddha Fa wholeheartedly, and step forward to eliminate this final superficial evil.
