Press Statement by Falun Gong Practitioners in Geneva During the United Nations Human Rights Commission
As you all know, 19 months ago, the Chinese regime began a brutal crackdown on the meditation practice known as Falun Gong. The Falun Gong practitioners in China have since been going to Tiananmen Square almost every day, unfurling banners or doing their exercises, in an attempt to appeal to their government to lift the ban. These practitioners are quickly rounded up and placed in detention, where they are subjected to all forms of torture and mistreatment.

NGOs Urge Canadian Government to Co-Sponsor UN Resolution on China's Human Rights Record
[Vancouver]: Vancouver Falun Dafa Practitioners were joined in a press conference on March 23 by various speakers from non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in an attempt to convince the Canadian government to co-sponsor the American resolution on China' human rights record at the current meeting of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights in Geneva, Switzerland.
