In the traditional celebration of St. Patrick's Day, a grand parade was held in downtown Montreal. Renowned personalities from various circles participated. The Falun Dafa practitioners of Montreal took part in the parade in order to introduce Falun Dafa to more people.
In keeping with the traditional color of St. Patrick's Day, the practitioners created green Falun Dafa banners and had several hundred green balloons imprinted with the words "Falun Dafa" and "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance." The parade team, consisting of both Eastern and Western practitioners, was quite prominently displayed. The parade spectators seemed to notice the uniquely peaceful composure of the practitioners, and many asked for the balloons with "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance," and for Falun Dafa brochures.
An exciting experience for the practitioners was that some among them had suddenly noticed a huge Falun circling around the sun against the azure blue sky at around 10:00 a.m. Although the clouds were in motion, the Falun maintained a consistent pattern, with a spectrum of changing colors radiating from its edge. The Falun gradually faded out as they arrived at the parade destination at 4:00 p.m.
