The government of a county in Shandong province held a meeting of all the officials and clerks, as per instructions from higher authorities, to denounce Falun Gong. The head brought in a Dafa book and criticized it after reading each paragraph. The following is an excerpt of the discussion after they finished reading a section:
A: "I've never heard of any bad deed consequent to practicing Falun Gong, how can we denounce it?"
B: "All that is said in the book is teachings on how to be a good person, how do we go about denouncing it? What are we denouncing such a good book for?"
C: "The book is so well written, why don't you read it out loud, let's hear some more please."
The fourth person took some books home to read by himself. Now he has secretly started to practice Falun Gong at home. His wife, who used to practice another kind of Qigong, after reading the Dafa books, of her own free will destroyed all her other Qigong books because she felt none of them could come close to comparing to the great teachings of Li Hongzhi. Thereafter, the whole family began to practice only Dafa.
The meeting to denounce Dafa actually promoted Dafa, attesting to the enduring greatness of Buddha Fa. The virtuous will obtain salvation when touched by the great benevolence of Buddha Fa. Those who try to slander Dafa, however, will find that they are only harming themselves.
