National Congresswoman Lu Xinghua of Jilin Province Is Tortured to Death
Lu Xinghua was a congresswoman from Wutaixiang village, Dehui City, Jilin Province. After she began practicing Falun Dafa, both her body and mind went through tremendous changes. In March 2001, Lu and her husband (also a Dafa practitioner) went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa. However, on March 7 they were sent back to Dehui City where they were held in the Dehui Detention Center.
Falun Gong Practitioner Ren Pengwu Was Murdered and All His Bodily Organs Were Removed by the Hulan County Police in Heilongjiang Province
[Minghui Net] Ren Pengwu was a 33-year-old male from Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province.
Before his death, he was a technician at the Harbin City Third Thermal Power Plant in Heilongjiang Province. He conducted his daily life in an upright and honest manner, enjoyed good health, worked conscientiously, and bore his burden of responsibility. Many times he was given awards such as "advanced worker," "youth of five virtues," "the good example," "the factory model employee," the "Heilongjiang Province power system model employee," and others.
Removing My Deepest Attachments: New Understanding from My Trip to Geneva
[Minghui Net] Early in March, I couldn' go to the European Dafa Experience Sharing Meeting because the Chinese Embassy in Canada refused to extend my passport. In the beginning of April, when I learned that the United Nations Human Rights Commission would be meeting in Geneva, I felt I just had to go somehow. As it happened, several days later I was granted Canadian citizenship, and I obtained a Canadian passport. Thus, I had what it took to go to Geneva.
