At about 11:45am on June 2, a practitioner was doing laundry when a sound caused her to look up. She raised her head and saw the sun ring. She phoned me immediately. I happened to have a Sony 330 digital camera at hand and shot this rare scene with the largest resolution.

At the time, the sun ring was huge, and the camera could not cover the whole ring. The sun was bigger than usual. The ring was colorful like a rainbow. Many people saw this scene. The clouds in the sky were pretty, some looked like dragons, some looked like fluttering phoenixes.
At about 12:00, the ring started to shrink and slowly faded out.
The above pictures were not processed except reduced to 30% the original size in photoshop because the pictures are too big.
Picture 1-13 were taken at 11:45am, while picture 14-16 were taken at 12:00pm.
