1. [Beijing] Police in the Shunyi Area Torment Dafa Practitioners in a Brainwashing Class On July 12th, 2001, police from the Shayu Police Station climbed over a wall and arrested Yang Shiying, a Falun Gong practitioner.

On July 13th, 2001 at five in the morning, police from the Shunyi Area arrested another Falun Gong practitioner, Yang Shifen.

The brainwashing class in Shunyi Area prohibited Falun Dafa practitioner Zhang Ziyun from sleeping for many days. Despite this, she firmly refused to cooperate with the evil and solidified her righteous faith and righteous thoughts. She has been detained for two months.

Only if a teacher is good will our children learn from him." Another parent said, "It is better to have some faith than to have no faith at all. No matter what the case is, the persecution has gone too far." Another parent said, "An old saying says: He who will be your teacher for one day will be your father for a whole lifetime. I understand that when someone abuses your teacher you would feel more distressed than if they abused you, yourself. If I was in that position I would clarify the truth too."

3. [Harbin, Heilongjiang Province] The Criminal Evidence of Lawless People in the Taiping Township A township government leader threatened practitioners by giving them psychotropic drugs and sending them to mental hospitals; he attempted to transform the practitioners.

Those practitioners who held firm were dismissed from their work units. Now, they can only work temporarily. Three practitioners have been dismissed from the XX Party.

The police arrested practitioners at will. One practitioner was detained for six months and he was arrested without reason.

There were 27 local practitioners going to Beijing to appeal. Whoever was escorted back was fined and detained. Four practitioners were sentenced to labor re-education.

4. [Huludao] School Principal Forces all Teachers and Students to Slander Falun Dafa

Jiang XX, the principal of the affiliated primary school of the Nanpiao Mineral Bureau Mechanical Electrical Factory, Huludao city, tightly followed Jiang Zemin who was bestowed with the name "Human Rights Scoundrel" by Amnesty International. During the school's new semester ceremony, he forced all the teachers and students to sign a piece of paper that slandered Falun Dafa; everyone needed to sign it.

Children are the future of our country. The education they receive has an intimate relationship with the flourishing potential of the country's future. However, in the places where there is knowledge and truth, evil thugs spread lies to the na ve children.

5. [Yanshan County, Hebei Province] Yanshan County Public Security Bureau Constructs a Small Building to use as a "Brainwashing Base"

To carry out instructions from Jiang Zemin and his minions, the Yanshan County Public Security Bureau spent a lot of money building a small three-story building to use as a base for brainwashing practitioners. The building is located east of Zengzhuang Bridge, southwest of the city. The policemen were ordered to arrest Falun Dafa practitioners all day and night. The arrested practitioners were forced to pay 50Yuan (about US$6) every day as "tuition" for the brainwashing classes. Those practitioners who refuse to be brainwashed during the "study" are sent to forced labor camps.

During these brainwashing classes, the vicious people beat the practitioners and forced them to stand outside under the extremely hot sun for long periods. During the night, they forced the practitioners to watch videos slandering and defaming Falun Dafa and the Teacher until 11 PM.

The known main vicious policemen are: Zhang Wenzhi and Ma Jianxin .

6. [China] Witness to the Evil of Masanjia Forced Labor Institute

I am a Falun Dafa practitioner released from Masanjia Forced Labor Institute. Inside, I witnessed the cruel torture of practitioners who refused to be brainwashed. The torture is carried out by the police guards. Many practitioners, including Ren Dongmei, Yang Lin, Zhao Shuhuan, Zhou Guirong, Liu Chengyan, Wang Jifeng, Ge Chunlin, Song Xiuqiong, Song Caihong, Ying Liping and others were beaten, cursed at, shocked with electric batons, locked into punishment devices, and mentally tortured. They were not allowed to sleep at night, and were made to work all day or punished by having to stand facing the wall for the entire day. When upper level cadres led reporters to inspect the institute, the police guards staged a fake scenario and did not allow the Falun Dafa practitioners to talk alone with the reporters.

All the items that visiting family members bring in are confiscated so that the detained practitioners have to buy necessary supplies from the institute at very high prices. Only those who have relationships with the police guards can bring things in. The leaders and many police guards of the institute request and accept bribes.

7. [Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province] Lingyuan City Police Illegally Sentence Ten More Practitioners to Forced Labor

On the morning of July 14, 2001 policemen from Lingyuan City Public Security Bureau tied signs with humiliating slogans around the necks of ten Falun Dafa practitioners. The practitioners were then shown publicly on the streets along with a hundred or more criminals. The police announced their charges to be from one year to three years of forced labor. This ugly event lasted for about two hours. Among the ten practitioners, the female practitioners were Qiao Guirong, Shi Xiuqing, Su Huijun, Huo Guilan, Chen Peiyun and Song Guili. The male practitioners were Gong Zhiguo, Yang Qing, Li Jun and Liu Chunhua.

The police detained practitioner Qiao Guirong for three months. She was released after her family paid the bail and wrote a guarantee letter. Only 5 days later, she was again illegally detained for another 37 or so days.

Three female practitioners from Daoerdeng Town Lingyuan City were arrested on January 22, 2001 without being informed of a reason. As of now, they are still being illegally detained.

8. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Police Kidnap and Brutally Beat Falun Dafa Practitioner Sui Chengxiang

Falun Dafa practitioner Sui Chengxiang, from Fushan District, Yantai City of Shandong Province was given only 180 Yuan RMB [about US $22] as a monthly living fee from her work unit because she had been to Beijing to appeal many times but she still had to go to work as usual. On June 12, 2001, the former vice head of Fushan Detention Center Zhu Jun and other vile policemen forcibly took her away for no apparent reason. They spread out her arms and legs, hung her up, and brutally beat her. On June 13, while going to the restroom, she took the chance to jump out of the second floor building and her legs were broken. The vile police then took her back and sent her to the hospital. She was handcuffed even when lying in the hospital. A week later, she was sent back home, yet was still under tight surveillance. In order not to be taken away by the evil, she had to leave home and went to other places to validate Dafa.

9. [Zizhong County, Sichuan Province] List of Names of the Criminal Officials in Nanmusi Female Labor Camp

The wardens in Nanmusi Female Labor Camp of Zizhong County, Sichuan Province adopted various contemptible methods to forcibly brainwash the steadfast Dafa practitioners. They would not release those firm and unyielding Dafa practitioners after their detention terms were expired.

We hereby request Nanmusi Female Labor Camp immediately set all the illegally detained Dafa practitioners free.

Good will be rewarded with good and evil with evil. It is the course of nature. Those behind the scenes instigators and the vile people who tortured Dafa practitioners will definitely be put on trial by history.
