(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioners held an experience sharing conference in Shulan city, Jilin province on July 8, 2001. Nearly 200 practitioners attended this conference. But the conference site was surrounded by the police due to the report of some informants, leading to the arrest of 49 practitioners. Among them were a 72-year old senior and two children. One is Meng Jiuce, 12 years old; another one is Xu Xu, 13 years old. (We do not know the gender of these two children) Meng Jiuce was later picked up by his or her family on the same day. But Xu Xu was sent to the detention center in Shulan city the next day and held at No. 3 cell.
When Xu Xu and other practitioners were walking out of the conference site, some plain-clothes policemen beat them with sticks. As a result, Xu Xu's head was injured, an elderly lady's arms were broken and two seniors walking with canes, fainted.
When the criminal police interrogated Xu Xu, they slapped the child's face, threatening and frightening him, which has caused severe discomfort to his body and mind. Now Shulan Security Bureau is planning to illegally send these practitioners to labor camps, not even sparing the children and seniors.
On July 9, Ban Huijuan, Xu Xu's mother (a practitioner) went to the security bureau to pick up her child. The security people questioned her first, then asked her to pick up her child at the Shulan Detention Center. However the detention center raised all manner of difficulties, even cursed and insulted her, but didn't release her child. Ban Huijuan then sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil. The interrogators couldn't question her any more. Ban said later: "They seemed not to know what to ask me at that time except for saying that I was too tough to handle. It's actually the power of the righteous minds."
Ban Huijuan went again to the detention center to request the release of her child on July 14. A policeman over 50 years old insulted her with filthy words. The policemen Li XX and Jin XX interrogated Ban Huijuan and Xu Xu respectively for an entire morning. During that time, Ban kept sending forth righteous thoughts and they didn't get anything from the interrogation. In the afternoon, Ban Huijuan showed uncomfortable symptoms. The police were afraid that she would die and released both of them. When Xu Xu was released on July 14, with a swollen face. A 13-year old child had been detained for seven days by the police and during these days this na ve child has been impressed with the indelible image: the "people's" police are harming their people!
Those malicious police couldn't let go of a child, so imagine how brutally they would treat other adult practitioners. On July 8, a female practitioner, 30 years old, was beaten by the criminal police of Shulan city. The police asked her whether she recognized the speakers at the experience conference and what they looked like. She said she didn't know them and was slapped on the face; when she said she didn't see them she was beaten on her eyes, then on the face over thirty times. She fainted and was awakened with cold water, and then she was beaten again.
Recently, the out of control police force arrested the practitioners everywhere and made people restless. It was said that the security bureau arrested 5 practitioners on July 14, 2001. We would like to warn these evil people: do not assist the evil with such brutal and bad deeds, otherwise the retributions are waiting right in front of them.
