1. [Mainland China] Short Stories about Sending Forth Righteous Thoughts

There was a poster with words slandering Falun Dafa on the propaganda board in our residential district. Last night when we passed by, we sent forth righteous thoughts together: "The Fa rectifies the Cosmos, the Evil is completely eliminated. The columns against Dafa must be removed!" At noon today when we passed by the propaganda board, we found it was really replaced with new contents.

Everyday, at the beginning of each hour, we (several Dafa practitioners who were forced to wander about) sit down to clean up our thoughts, and then we send forth righteous thoughts. After reciting the verse, we think, "Eliminate the vicious elements controlling the brainwashing classes, and unconditionally release all detained Dafa practitioners!" We hope more Dafa practitioners will join us in sending forth righteous thoughts. Let's unite to use righteous thoughts to resist the evil's brainwashing, and free the illegally detained Dafa practitioners.

2. [Beijing] The Beijing Broadcasting College Kidnaps Falun Dafa Practitioners in Broad Daylight

Before going to work on June 14, officials from the Party branch of each subordinate college of the Beijing Broadcasting College lured steadfast Dafa practitioners to the general Party branch offices. To our surprise, they, along with the police of section fourteen, and the college security guards, illegally kidnapped four Dafa practitioners and forcibly sent them to the Tuanhe Labor Camp, where they were forced to attend an illegal brainwashing class held by the Higher Education Working Committee. A teacher from the engineering college named Guo Zhi was able to escape by sending forth righteous thoughts; however, a teacher from the international communication college named Man Yunhan and two students named Zhou Xuelin and Jiao Ping were all sent to the Tuanhe Brainwashing Class.

The kidnapping process lasted over an hour due to the Dafa practitioners' strong resistance. Many teachers, employees and students witnessed the whole process. This kidnapping incident happened in broad daylight and made people realize the cruel reality of the Falun Gong persecution. The kind-hearted teachers and students were shocked.

Before this event, the Beijing Broadcasting College transferred the steadfast Dafa practitioners from their original posts. Teachers were not allowed to give lessons. Administrative employees were dismissed from their posts. Students were suspended from school. In February and March this year, school officials cooperated with the 610 Office in kidnapping two Dafa practitioners and illegally brainwashing them. They forced one professor to speak negatively about Falun Dafa on TV; this had a very bad influence on society. Ouyang Yan, an employee of the international communication college firmly resisted the brainwashing. She left home and became destitute, and has only recently returned. Ma Hongyun, a teacher at the Information Engineering College resisted the brainwashing and then wandered about in a state of destitutionher whereabouts are currently unknown. Teacher Guo Zhi was illegally detained at the Capital Airport when he was about to go abroad; this happened simply because he once went to Tiananmen Square. Since July 20, 1999, some other people from the Beijing Broadcasting College who have gained benefits from Falun Dafa dare not utter a word because of this persecution. Some people were even forced to give up their cultivation. As a result, their serious diseases recurred.

We sincerely offer advice to important leaders at the Beijing Broadcasting College. Distinguish good from evil, and do not be fooled again into helping tyrants do evil. Otherwise, when the time comes for good and evil to receive retributions,

3. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners from Guangzhou and Hongkong Disappear

On May 28, Dafa practitioners from Guangzhou, Wu Zhiping, and Li Bin, and Dafa practitioners from Hongkong Wu Yongen, and Wu Yongjun, as well as a couple named Zeng Guangsheng and Axiang disappeared in Guangzhou. It was rumored that the police of the Baiyun district took Wu Zhiping away on May 29. There is no further information yet.

4. [China] Over One Hundred Practitioners on Hunger Strike Suffered Savage Persecution

In the Wanjia Labor Camp, over 100 Dafa practitioners were illegally detained beyond their sentences. They were locked in a dark room for no reason and forced to sleep on the wet ground. Over 10 practitioners were infected with scabies, which causes the most suffering in a damp environment. Under these circumstances, over 100 practitioners went on a hunger strike and demanded to be released. Here is the record of the savage persecution exerted on the practitioners during the hunger strike:

Gao Shuyan: On April 2 she was sent to the dark room. The second day she went on a hunger strike for 28 days. On April 6 she was force-fed. Four to five persons forced her on a chair and tried to inject her, causing her mouth and nose to bleed. On April 16, she was sent to the hospital and injected by force. The director of the hospital, Hao said, "If you don't eat, we will treat you this way." She personally saw that nurses washed the stomach tubes in the dirty basin used to wash the feet of scabies patients and then used them on the next patient. The stomach tubes they used were un-sterilized and damaged rubber tubes.

Zuo Xiuyun: She was sent to the hospital by force; she had subcutaneous edema. She and four other people had a rash and felt extreme itching. She kept the hunger strike going for 31 days.

Hao Yunzhu: In the hospital, she refused force-feeding and was dragged away by criminals. In the treatment room, a thug named Song beat her. She was on the hunger strike for 20 days.

Shao Ying: After being on a hunger strike she became very emaciated. She was beaten and kicked by Song even if she did not resist during force-feeding. She was on hunger strike for 26 days.

Pan Xuanhua: She was on a hunger strike for 25 days and was force-fed 5 times.

Li Xiuqin: She was over 60 years old. After forced-feeding she kept having diarrhea that lasted for two weeks. She was on a hunger strike for 25 days and was force-fed 16 times.

Guo Mingxia: She went on hunger strike10 times. She suffered cruel beatings from criminals; she did not recover until now.

5. [Shanghai] Some practitioners Sent to Labor Camp

Dafa practitioners from Xuhui district, Shanghai, Wang (female), Jiang Yong (male), Li Guifang (female) and Zhang Qin (male) had never been interrogated and detained because of going to Beijing to appeal. During the New Year Day of 2000, these four practitioners went out together to post materials clarifying the truth and were tracked down and arrested by police and later sent to labor camps.

Zhuang Wei (female), born in 1974. During the period of graduate study in Shanghai Jiaotong University, she was detained illegally for one month and forced to quit school because she went to Beijing to appeal. After she got a job, the police threatened the leader in her work unit so she would be dismissed. In April this year she was sent to a labor camp because of distributing materials clarifying the truth.

6. [Harbin, Heilongjiang Province] A Practitioner Is Kidnapped

Dafa practitioner Huang Tiecheng was wanted by the evil forces because he would not give up practicing Falun Dafa. The director of his previous work unit, Harbin Taiping District Gad Management Bureau Li Maosheng, got the police to seize Huang and throw him into a police vehicle. At present Huang is detained in the Taiping police station; his condition is unknown.

We seriously warn those vicious people involved in this issue: Benevolence will have rewards and wickedness will have retributions. Do not step onto the opposite side of Zhen-Shan-Ren, the Law of the Universe. Hurting others is hurting yourself. Stop this wicked conduct immediately; heaven will not tolerate you!

7. [Beijing] Falun Dafa Practitioner Deng Bin and Her Husband Are Forced to

Attend Brainwashing Classes

Beijing Falun Dafa practitioner Deng Bin was under surveillance because she refused to write a guarantee letter (to quit practicing Falun Gong). A month ago, she went to stay temporarily in her husband Zhang Wencai's countryside hometown in Hebei province. On the afternoon of June 10, four police officers from Beijing illegally apprehended her and forced her to take a brainwashing class. Her husband, who always supports her, was also forced to attend the brainwashing class for refusing to reveal her whereabouts. Their baby daughter, who is only 1-year-old, was left at home.

Deng Bin is determined to cultivate Falun Dafa. She went to appeal even during her pregnancy. She has also been to Tiananmen Square to validate Dafa. The perverse forces hate her steadfastness the most. Once finding her, the villains didn't even spare her husband. They didn't care at all about separating the young baby from her mother. Is there any human nature left in these people? Do they have any righteous thoughts? We here sternly warn the police officers to stop helping the tyrants in their persecution. Otherwise the retribution they bring on themselves can never be repaid.

8. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Reports from Chengdu City, Sichuan Province

Internal sources have reported that, during the last ten days of June, Chengdu police will start a sweeping search through the entire city under the guise of clearing out the transient population. Some practitioners have reported that, as of June 18, this campaign has begun in some parts of the city.

In addition, practitioners have reported that police, posing as vendors, are actually monitoring anyone who posts leaflets clarifying the truth [of Falun Gong]. Thus, some practitioners have been arrested by these vicious people.

Practitioners in the Chengdu area, please exercise caution and don't let evil surprise you. At the same time, let us send forth the purest and most steadfast righteous thoughts to smash these remaining evil elements. Let us continue to clarify the truth, to expose the evil, to offer salvation to more people, to better perfect and harmonize Dafa, and carry out the responsibilities that history endows on us.

9. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Reports from the Wendeng Area

From late May to early June, police from the Wendeng area and the wicked "610 Office" of Wendeng once again rounded up Falun Dafa practitioners and sent them to brainwashing classes. Some practitioners were taken away from home, some from off the street. They are still in custody at the "610 Office."

Falun Dafa practitioners protested against this by holding a hunger strike and refraining from drinking any water. Those rogues said, "It's your own fault if anyone dies. Jiang Zemin said a long time ago that we wouldn't have any responsibility if any Falun Dafa practitioner was beaten to death."

Falun Dafa practitioners currently in custody include: Hou Aita, Jiang Guofeng, Lian Haiying, Yu Xiuxiang, Yu Zhenghong, etc.

10. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Chen Jinqing Is Homeless

Falun Dafa practitioner Chen Jinqing in Guangzhou city, Guangdong province has not been able to go home since April. He is avoiding the escalated persecution in order to validate Dafa. Chen Jinqing went to Beijing to appeal in October 1999. He was arrested and illegally held in a detention center for half a month. Later in 2000, Chen was arrested again when simply exchanging thoughts with fellow practitioners in Chaozhou city. Chen was taken to Huadu and illegally held in Timian Drug Rehabilitation Center for over a month before being released home under a guarantee from his family members.

11. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Wicked Police Officers Receive Due Retribution

Over a dozen Falun Dafa practitioners were held in the mental hospital in Tiexi district of Shengyang city, Liaoning province. One day a group of people from the Communication Bank, with bad intentions, gave each practitioner a book that defames Falun Dafa. Practitioners were unwilling to take the books. After they left, police officer Zhou of the Tiexi Patrolling Mid-sized Team started to give instructions to practitioners. He went on with boasting and threatening, but no one paid him much attention. At 9:00 PM in the evening, he suddenly had a severe headache. He couldn't bear it anymore. Four people were called in to lift him up and take him away. After a few days, Zhou came back on duty. His face had turned black with lips of a dark purple color. He asked one practitioner, "Why do I always suffer from headaches?" The practitioner answered, "One thought determines the outcome, either good or bad." Zhou was silent. The practitioner then persuaded, "It might not be too late if you wake up."

A female political and judiciary cadre in a street office in Shenyang city was assigned to confiscate Falun Dafa publications. She fell down for no reason when she was on her way back riding a bicycle. Her leg bled, but she didn't give it much thought. A few days later, she was sent out [to confiscate Falun Dafa books] again. On her way back, she again fell, this time quite heavily. The high heel came off of her shoe. The steering of her bicycle was so twisted out of shape that the bicycle was completely useless. This time she understood and told her superiors, "I am not going to do this anymore."
