Undated-AP -- Followers of the Falun Gong (FAH'-luhn gawng) spiritual movement have begun marches in the U-S to call attention to alleged persecution in China.
The marchers will meet in Washington on July 17th, where organizers have planned rallies and meetings with lawmakers.
Members of the [group] claim 15 women died at a labor camp in China last month as a result of persecution.
One high school student who is part of a group that is walking from Boston to Washington says she's hoping the effort will raise international support for the group and its efforts. Susie Troung (trahng) says Chinese persecution is an urgent matter.
