A 12-Year-Old Boy Holds A Two-week Vigil in Front of the Chinese Embassy in Ottawa

My name is Chaochen Guan. I am 12 years old, and I am a Canadian citizen. I have been practicing Falun Gong for almost four years. Falun Gong teaches me to be a good person according to the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." I like Falun Gong very much. Recently, I read on the Internet that Chinese police beat to death many good and kind people who were Falun Gong practitioners. Even an 8-month-old baby was beaten to death.

Police officers in China, I do not understand why you have done these very bad things. When I was in kindergarten in China, my teacher told me that it was the specific job of police officers to catch bad people and protect good people. Why are you now especially persecuting good people? Doesn't this mean you have turned bad? Seeing you become like this makes me very worried. From August 13 to August 27, my mother and I will hold a silent vigil in front of the Chinese Embassy in Ottawa and tell all the people the bad that you have done. I do not want you to continue doing wrong. At the same time, I hope my actions can attract the attention of good people who will bravely step forward to support Falun Gong.
