Media have reported that 130 Falun Gong practitioners have been on hunger strike for 15 days at the Masanjia Labor Camp and their lives are in danger, and that 70 practitioners in Changlinzi Labor Camp started a hunger strike on July 2 and demanded that all practitioners, including those who are being currently detained beyond their jail terms, be freed.
On August 15, UK practitioners went to the Prime Minster's mansion, delivered an SOS appeal letter to the Prime Minster, and urged him and his government to take urgent action to help rescue the practitioners who are on hunger strike and whose lives are in danger.
The Prime Minster's Representative graciously accepted the practitioners' appeal letter.
