To Falun Gong in Sweden

I would like to, on behalf of the Government and Prime Minister G ran Persson, thank you for the official letters and lists of signatures which were handed over at our assembly in Mynttorget in Stockholm. The fact that people are persecuted and subjected to acts of cruelty due to their belief or political convictions is something that the Swedish Government can never accept. We all have a common responsibility to dare to stand up in the struggle for freedom of religion and human rights. Wherever human dignity is violated, we must dare to defend and re-establish it. In this way we are building a better world together.
