The hunger strike in front of the Chinese Embassy in London has gone into the second day. Because the practitioners on hunger strike refuse both water and food, most of them started to have physiological reactions, but they still maintain good spirits.
The SOS flyers went really fast. A lot of passersby signed the petitions, including many professionals. An MP in London, upon hearing about the hunger strike, came all the way to the Embassy to see the practitioners and expressed his outrage over the Chinese government's uncivilized behavior.
The British Foreign Ministry faxed a letter to practitioners and reiterated that the UK government opposes the Jiang Zemin regime's persecution of Falun Gong, that the UK government will take every opportunity to show its concern, and that the position of the UK government has never changed.
