A member of the Falun Gong group on a hunger strike outside the Chinese embassy in Canberra has been taken to the hospital suffering from dehydration.
The strike, which began on Wednesday, is in protest over China's treatment of their religious group.
Zupia Liu, in her 50s, was taken to Calvary Hospital but is said to be recovering well.
There are 12 other Falun Gong members continuing the strike.
