(Clearwisdom.net) Since July 22, 2001, vicious policemen in Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province, have illegally arrested many practitioners. They deceived practitioners into going to a police station located in a suburban Hualin Rubber Plant and forced them to write confessions under excruciating torture. More than 30 practitioners were being forced to write confessions. The ruffians are continuously searching and arresting practitioners.
The less severe tortures that practitioners suffered are: standing still for long periods, sleep deprivation; the more severe tortures are: prolonged electric shock and handcuffing. Practitioner Zhang was tortured by being shocked with electric batons for 48 hours. It is really inhumane. The vicious policemen seized the opportunity to make a fortune. They forced practitioners to write the "Guarantee Statement," (to give up Falun Dafa) and demanded their family members to hand in a "deposit" to bail them out. A policeman named Zhang threatened, "Do not think that the law prohibits policemen from beating people. It is another story for you Falun Gong practitioners."
Li Changqing from Mudanjiang City "610 Office" is extremely vicious. Since 1999, he has been very active in slandering Dafa and persecuting practitioners. In 2001, he was promoted to the position of Deputy Secretary of Political and Judiciary Committee of the city and he continued to persecute practitioners. He sought money and wealth by making an issue of "to release practitioners or not."
We hope all kind-hearted people in the world will not to be deceived any more and come to realize the ugliness of the evil nowadays. We firmly believe that the day will come that the truth will be disclosed and Dafa's reputation will be restored.
