Happy New Year!
The spring is approaching and the winter will be soon gone. The new replaces the old and everything will be renewed.
Teacher came to Wuhan many times giving the Fa lectures. This has made Wuhan a city of special importance in the promotion of the Fa. After July 20, 1999, practitioners went to Beijing to appeal one after another, and they went to Tiananmen to validate Dafa. During the process of exposing the evil and clarifying the truth, many practitioners were illegally arrested, sentenced to prison, sent to forced labor, detained, kidnapped into brainwashing classes, forced to leave home and roam about, and some even lost their precious lives. Dafa practitioners safeguard the truth of the cosmos. Facing evil and terror, they determinedly use reason and peaceful means to compassionately tell the truth to the government. This has made kind-hearted people have hope for justice and demonstrated Dafa practitioners' great compassion and tolerance.
The evil is about to be completely eliminated. The Fa-rectification of the human world is about to come. Some of us practitioners in Wuhan, solemnly suggest that, "During this time period when the massive, overwhelmingly powerful Fa-rectification-current of the Fa's rectification of the human world hasn't yet arrived in the human world" ("Fa-Lecture at the Conference in Florida, U.S.A."), let's establish, with pure, benevolent hearts and rock-like determined righteous thoughts, "Wuhan Falun Dafa Day" here in Mainland China where the evil is most rampant. Let's completely ignore all the arrangements made by the old evil force and eliminate the evil's persecution of Dafa and Dafa practitioners. As always, "Validate the Fa with reason, clarify the truth with wisdom, spread the Fa and offer people salvation with benevolence," ("Rationality") and use our lives to welcome the magnificent moment of Fa-rectification of the human world.
We suggest that the day February 4, 2002, be named as "Wuhan Falun Dafa Day." This day falls on the "Beginning of Spring" on the Chinese lunar calendar, and it's a day when everything is renewed and new lives are being born. It portends the disappearance of the cold winter, the wide illumination of light and the blossoming of flowers. More importantly, it signifies the coming of "Dafa's most glorious period in the human world." ["Foretelling the Fa's Rectification of the Human World"]
On this day, let's send our purest and most powerful righteous thoughts on 5, 6, 7 a.m. and 9 p.m, Beijing Time, to completely eradicate all evil that interferes with Dafa in Wuhan City, in China, within the Three Realms and in the most microscopic and macroscopic levels of the cosmos, including everything and leaving out nothing.
