Guo Yuxian is a 54 year-old female employee of Qianan Liquor Factory in Anshun City. In October 1999, she attended a cultivation experience sharing conference and was then given a disciplinary warning. In March 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong and was detained for 15 days. She was then forced to attend the first of several brainwashing classes. On November 29, 2000, she was detained again because she was suspected of attending a group gathering at fellow practitioner We Botong's residence. She was not released until January 2001 after she paid 2,000 Yuan [Chinese currency, the monthly salary for an average Chinese urban worker is about 500 Yuan] for bail. Afterwards, she was forced to attend the forth term of the brainwashing class. She later joined a group practice and was given another disciplinary warning. On June 5, 2001, she went to Ziyun County to hand out fact-clarification material, which was reported by some vicious people. She was then arrested and detained in the Ziyun Police Substation until July 12, 2001. After that, she was transferred to the Second Detention Center of Anshun City until April 24, 2002. She was then illegally sent to do forced labor in the seventh unit of the Yangai Farm. To this day, the police have yet to allow her family members to visit, and deliver things to her. The amount of money she had extorted from her since she was brought back from Beijing is unknown.
Wei Yalan, female, 45 years old, attended an experience sharing conference in March 2002 and was forced to attend the third term of the brainwashing class. The police suspected her of being the organizer of a group practice and detained her for half month. In 2001 she went to Ziyun County with Guo Yuxian and was arrested. She was sentenced to 5 years of forced labor.
Liang Shaofei, female, over 50 years old, is a retiree from the Hongji Factory of Aushun City. In March 2002, she went to Beijing with Jia Lian to appeal for Falun Gong and was arrested and taken back to her hometown. She was then detained for half month and forced to attend the first term of the brainwashing class as well as the forth term. In late January of 2001 when she was handing out fact-clarification materials with Liao Liqian, their activity was reported to the police by some vicious people. They both were arrested and held in the second detention center of Anshun City. In March 2001, she was released after having paid 2000 Yuan for bail. She was later sent to the forced labor camp with Pan Yingmei.
Lian Liqian, female, about 50 years old, a retiree from the Bulb Factory of the Anshun City, is in the same situation as Liang Shaofei.
Yin Qianling, female, over 30 years old, employee of the Cotton Factory of Anshun City, was a model worker. In October 2000, she attended an experience sharing conference and was then arrested. Some fact-clarification materials were confiscated during a search of her home. Later she was arrested again when she was looking for places that do photocopying. She was held in the second detention center of Anshun City and released in mid-January of 2001 after having paid 2000 Yuan for bail. In April 2001, she was sentenced to 3 years of forced labor along with several other practitioners.
Zhang Dechuan, male, 38 years old, a farmer from Jiuzhou County of Anshun City. He was detained three times and forced to attend the second and forth terms of the brainwashing class because he often clarified the facts in his hometown. In 2000, while on his way to visit a relative in Kaiyang, he was arrested again because he was reading a hand-written copy of a Dafa book. The Section #1 of Aushun City Police Department took him back and then illegally detained him. He was later released. He was forced to attend the brainwashing class and was illegally sent to a forced labor camp along with several fellow practitioners.
Wan Dongqiong, female, 49 years old. She went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in March 2000 and was taken back to her hometown and then illegally detained for 15 days. She was forced to attend the first term of the brainwashing class. On April 19, 2001, she was arrested while handing out fact-clarification materials. She was then held in the second detention center of the Anshun City for 8 months and afterwards illegally sentenced to three years of forced labor. On July 5, 2001, she was found doing Falun Gong exercises in prison and was put in shackles.
Zhang Guozhen, female, over 50 years old, went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in March 2000 and arrested. She was taken back to her hometown and detained for 15 days. She was also forced to attend the first term of the brainwashing class. She was suspected of handing out truth clarification materials and contributing money for printing of those materials in the end of 2001. She was then illegally arrested and held in the second detention center of Anshun City till February 2002. She was forced to attend the fifth term of the brainwashing class. In June 2002, she was arrested again and sentenced to three years of forced labor.
Xu Jiarong, female, 55 years old, party member, was an accountant for the Anshun Medicinal Material Company. She attended experience-sharing conferences in March and October 2000 and was arrested on October 26. She was released at the end of 2000 after she paid 2000 Yuan for bail. She was forced to attend the second, third and forth terms of the brainwashing class. She joined a group practice during the 4th brainwashing class and was then illegally given a security warning. On July 23 2001, the police searched the home of Liu Qinying while Xu was there. Some Dafa truth-clarification material was confiscated and Xu has been detained ever since .
Wu Botong, male, 70 years old, a retiree from the Water and Electricity Bureau of Guanneiling County, lives in Anshun City. On October 5, 2000, the first experience sharing conference after July 20, 1999 was held at his home. There were over 10 people attending. The police called it the "105" gathering. He was illegally detained. In 2000, after he went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong he was detained for 15 days. He was then transferred to the second detention center of Anshun City. He as forced to attend the second term of the brainwashing class in June 2000. Later that month, he delivered Teacher's articles to fellow practitioners and was arrested and sentenced to three years of forced labor in Zhongba Forced Labor Camp. In the end of 2000, he wrote pledges against his will and thus was released. In March 2001, he sent a statement back to the forced labor camp (declaring all he had written in the labor camp that was not according to Dafa was null and void). He was then sent back to the labor camp where he has been ever since.
Pan Yingmei, female, 55 years old, a retiree from the Anshun Medicinal Material Company, is Wu Botong's wife. She went to Beijing to appeal with Wu and was detained for seven days. Because of the experience sharing conference at her home on October 5 2000, she was arrested and detained for half a month. In March 2001, when Wu wrote the statement declaring all he had written against Dafa was null and void, she was also arrested again and detained for half month. She was also forced to attend the second, third, and forth terms of the brainwashing class. On April 30, 2001 at the brainwashing class, she, along with Liang Shaofei, Liang Liqian, and Yin Qianling, were sent to the Zhongba Forced Labor Camp for three years forced labor. Zhang Dechuan was also sent to the Zhongba forced labor camp for 2 and a half years. Currently she has two young children at home without a mother.
Wan Jiazhen, male, a 73 years old retiree, was the former assistant center director in Anshun City. He was arrested because he was suspected of organizing the experience sharing conference on March 26, 2000. One month later, he was sent to Zhongba labor camp for three years of forced labor. In the end of 2000, he was released after he wrote materials under great pressure. He was forced to attend the fifth term of the brainwashing class around the Chinese New Year in 2002. On the way to Ziyun County in late July, he was arrested and illegally held in the first detention center of Anshun City.
Lia Linan, male, 36 years old, was a former employee of the Anshun Alcohol Factory. He was discharged from his employment because he attended the experience sharing conference in the end of October 1999. In March 2000, he went to Tiananmen Square in Beijing to validate Dafa and was arrested and held in the second detention center of Anshun City. He was later transferred to Zhongba forced labor camp for three years of forced labor. He was released ahead of schedule in June 2001, because he gave up under great pressure and wrote materials against his will. To resist the fifth term of the brainwashing class, he had to leave home and became homeless. He was arrested on May 13, 2002, in Guiyang City of Guizhou Province and then transferred to the second detention center where he is to this day.
Xiang Xiaoyan, female, 32 years old, an employee of the Communist Party School of Anshun City. She went to Beijing with Jia Linan to appeal and was sent to Zhongba Forced Labor Camp for three years. In the end of 2000, she was released ahead of schedule because under great pressure she wrote material against her will. On February 7, 2002, she was again arrested and the police were going to send her to the fifth term of the brainwashing class. She escaped from the Dongguan Police Substation in the early morning of February 8 and was forced to become homeless. She was arrested again on May 13, 2002 in Guiyang City together with Jia Linan and has been held in the second detention center of Anshun city ever since.
Liu Qinying, female, over 40 years old, made a living selling appetizers. She attended the experience sharing conference in March 2000 and was forced to attend the second term of the brainwashing class. She was illegally arrested along with Xu Jiarong and is still being held in the second detention center of Anshun City.
Chen Hua, female, over 50 years old, a retiree from the Dongguan Veterinary Clinic of Anshun City. On July 23, 2001, she was illegally arrested and detained in the second detention center of Anshun City. She was released in the end of 2001. She was forced to attend the fifth term of the brainwashing class. On April 28, 2002, she was again illegally arrested and held in the second detention center of Anshun City.
Chen Huazheng, male, over 60 years old, a former staff member of the Anshun City Supply and Marketing Agency. He went to Tiananmen Square to appeal for Falun Gong in March 2002 and was arrested. To avoid being tortured, he jumped out of the building from the 3rd floor and broke his back and legs. Later he was sent out of the jail for medical care. Without any medical treatment however, all his injuries were healed. He was forced to attend the third term of the brainwashing class and was illegally detained for 15 days in the class. He was later forced to attend the forth term of the brainwashing class where he received a disciplinary warning for joining a group practice. Later he refused to attend the fifth term of the brainwashing class and was forced to leave home to avoid further persecution. On July 14 of this year, he was arrested and is still being detained .
Tang Wenqian, 55 years old, female, an employee of the Anshun City Nursing School, went to Beijing to appeal in March 2000 and was arrested and illegally detained for 15 days. She was then forced to attend the first and third terms of the brainwashing class. On September 1, 2002, she, along with Jin Xiuying, Zhang xx and another fellow practitioner were arrested while handing out fact-clarification material at Qiyanqiao Town, Anshun City. She is now being illegally detained at the first detention center.
Jin Xiuying, female, over 50 years old, a retiree from the Water and Electricity Bureau of Aushun City. She was arrested on September 1, 2002, together with Tang Weqian.
Huang Min, 44, female, a former employee of the Kaiyang Phosphor Factory. In the end of June 2001, she went to Kaiyang Sheep Factory to hand out fact-clarification material and then was followed by the police. Police followed her to her home. The police illegally searched the house and Huang Min was detained in the County Detention Center. She was later released on August 4 after having paid 3000 Yuan for bail. She was then illegally detained and sent to the Woman's Forced Labor Camp in Guizhou for 2 and a half years.
The above is only some of the facts about Falun Gong practitioners in Xixiu District of Anshun City. No other information has yet been gathered.

The practitioners in the forth term of the class practiced Falun Gong exercises and all received a so-called "Security Disciplinary Warning". In the fifth term of class, all the abducted practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts together to resist the evil persecution. The lecturer ended the class in a hurry. Falun Gong practitioners were all released from the class unconditionally after firmly resisting the persecution.
