Denmark: Righteous Actions of Police Officers and Hotel Staff Who Came to Realize the Truth about Falun Gong (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On the afternoon of September 26, in the SAS Radisson Hotel of Copenhagen's city centre, Falun Gong practitioners consisting of a European father, his pregnant wife and their 10 year-old daughter sat in the coffee lounge, preparing to appeal peacefully to the Chinese premier Zhu Rongji. They hoped that he could do something for the Chinese citizens to stop the persecution that the dictator Jiang has carried out against Falun Gong practitioners.

When the premier Zhu passed by them, the man said, "Hi! Falun Dafa is good!" He was taken away by the Denmark police after pressure from the Chinese government. Without any arrest warrant, the policemen who did not know the true facts about Dafa arrested him, and took him to the police station in a patrol car.

The man informed another practitioner by mobile telephone that he had been arrested. After that, two practitioners went to the SAS Radisson Hotel immediately to find out the location of the police station that arrested him and then they took a taxi there. They clarified the true facts to the police on duty one by one with the materials they had at hand. Many other European practitioners also went to the police station at that time. All of them peacefully clarified the truth to the staff of the police station.

Through the clarification of the truth by the Dafa practitioners and member's of the man's family, many police officers gained a basic understanding of Falun Dafa and of the evil persecution happening in China. They showed their support for the Dafa practitioners at once. After around two hours, the practitioner was released. The police officer who was in charge of this case told the Chairman of the European Falun Dafa Association, "We do not find your practitioner's behaviour improper." When the practitioner's family members left, the police officers who had understood the true situation took care to specially arrange a car for them, to take them back to the hotel.

Shortly after the event, the practitioner received a legal certificate from the Copenhagen police legal counsel dismissing charges and verifying that he is innocent of any wrongdoing.

During the Asia-Europe Summit Meeting held in Copenhagen, the Danish authorities permitted a series of activities held by Falun Gong practitioners. For example, performances in the Festival of Asian Culture, a parade, a candlelight vigil and peaceful appeals in front of the Chinese Embassy. The authorties had experienced the power of Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance, and the Falun Dafa practitioners' peaceful and compassionate nature. The police who had realized the truth also gave us a lot of support for our peaceful appeals and activities. They showed their admiration several times to Dafa practitioners. As one policeman on duty in front of the Chinese Embassy said, "You are even more peaceful than Gandhi."
