(Minghui.org special edition, 11/1/02) This global activity of intensively sending forth righteous thoughts can now conclude, so in regards to sending forth righteous thoughts on a daily basis please revert back to the way it was done before October. Dafa disciples in and out of China will continue to make good use of this time to do well in the three matters of studying the Fa well, clarifying the truth, and sending forth righteous thoughts. The overseas practitioners' daily activities of sending forth righteous thoughts around the various Chinese Consulates and clarifying the truth will still continue in an orderly manner until the persecution is ended.

Dafa Practitioner Song Yuying Tortured to Death in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Song Yuying was a 60-year-old Dafa practitioner from the Gujiao District of Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province. She was arrested in Beijing when she went there to appeal against the persecution of Falun Dafa, and police took her back to Taiyuan City. She was then illegally detained at the Nanshang Village Detention Center. Then, in May 2001, because she was so steadfast about practicing Dafa and refused to yield to the coercion of the detention center, she was transferred to the "Legal System Education Class," which was sponsored by the Zhencheng Labor "Re-education" Camp in Taiyuan City. In June 2001, she was tortured to death.

Attempting to Escape Arrest and Torture By Police, Female Practitioner Dong Jinlan of Gansu Province Dies after Jumping from Sixth Floor Balcony

Dong Jinlan was a 38-year-old female Dafa practitioner from Shuangcheng Town, Liangzhou District, Wuwei City. Her husband died long ago, and she had to raise her two young children all by herself. After Jiang and his political gang started the persecution of Falun Gong, she went to Beijing several times to appeal; however, she was arrested each time. In addition, the police used despicable means to estrange her family members from her, which rendered her homeless. Even so, the police wouldn't give up and they still kept looking for her.
