We Falun Dafa practitioners in Liaoning Province, People's Republic of China are a group of hundreds of thousands of kind-hearted people who believe in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance." We want to tell you about the brutal tortures we have suffered during the past three years, and point out that many people have been cruelly murdered and tens of thousands have been brutally tortured. We wish to sue the head criminal, Jiang Zemin, who has directed this murderous persecution.

The experience of each of us Dafa practitioners in Liaoning Province during the past three years is ironclad evidence to what has happened and is still happening. Every one of our Dafa practitioners is a powerful witness.

After Teacher Li Hongzhi made Falun Dafa public in 1992, he often came to Liaoning Province to lecture. He has been to Dalian City, Chaoyang City, Fushun City, Jinzhou City, Benxi City, Lingyuan City, Yi County and other places. Wherever Teacher arrived, many people began practicing Falun Dafa. All genuine Dafa practitioner firmly followed Teacher's teachings, disciplining themselves strictly according to the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance" wherever they were, which had a positive effect on raising the morality of society. Furthermore, after practicing Dafa, countless people afflicted with illnesses became perfectly healthy without any medical treatment or medication. These people not only saved the provincial government hundreds of millions of Yuan in medical expenses, but the practice of Dafa also brought happiness to their families. However, this great cultivation practice, which makes people healthy, teaches people to be good and improves society's morality, has unreasonably suffered attacks from lies and slanders.

Even prior to July 20^th, 1999, people at our practice sites were constantly harassed. Regarding this issue, all Dafa practitioners in Liaoning Province were merely exercising the legal rights endowed to every citizen by law under the Chinese Constitution. We also abided by the principle of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance" by writing letters to government officials at all levels and to top leaders of the nation, in hopes that this issue would be appropriately solved and that our right to believe in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance" would be returned to us. We never received an answer to our many letters, yet the persecution continued to escalate.

On July 20^th, 1999, Jiang's group began the illegal arrest of practice site assistants, followed by large-scale slander and attacks against Falun Gong. At this time, practitioners in Liaoning Province, trusting in their government, successively went to the local leaders and told them the facts about Falun Gong. The local government authorities claimed they couldn't fix the problem because the decision was made by the central government. With no other choice and with a heavy heart, we went to Beijing and tried to clarify the facts about Falun Dafa. We tried to expose the conspiracy of a few thugs through the Appeals Office in Beijing. [A governmental agency established by the Chinese constitution through which citizens can report their grievances or report if their cases have been handled improperly by local officials.]

The results of our sincerity and trust in the government were beatings, arrest, detention, forced labor, and incarceration in mental institutions and prisons. Without any legal grounds and without instituting proper legal procedures, Jiang's group directly sent us to detention centers, labor camps and jails, where we were brutally tortured. The guards beat and kicked us, and used various means of torture, such as the "tiger bench" See illustration on http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2001/11/24/16156.html), inserting bamboo slivers our fingernails, shocking us with electric batons, forcing us to keep squatting, and bend over with our rear ends pointed up and heads down, etc.

They subjected us to sleep deprivation; they poured cold water on us and cursed us through loudspeakers placed right next to our ears; they used pens to write on our bodies; they tied us up. They forced us to stand in the scorching sun during the summer, and did not give us enough food; and in the winter, they stripped us naked and threw us in the snow. Sexual torture was even more brutally unbearable. They stripped male practitioners and shocked their nipples and genitals with electric batons; they even stuck the electric batons into the practitioners' anuses and shocked them. For female practitioners, the thugs stripped them and shocked their nipples with electric batons; they stuck the electric batons into their vaginas. They also stabbed practitioners' fingers with needles.

The Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province is an especially dark den of demons. Jiang's accomplices, Luo Gan and Liu Jing, went to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in person and ordered the evil guards to force Dafa practitioners to give up their faith. If they refused to give up practicing Dafa, the thugs would brutally torture them. The thugs even promoted the means of brutal torture used on Dafa practitioners to the entire province and even to the whole nation, creating a sinister and horrific atmosphere in all detention centers, custody centers, forced labor camps and jails in the province. The sounds of electric batons shocking people and Dafa practitioners' screaming while being tortured could be constantly heard. The smell of burnt flesh from electric batons filled the whole building and Dafa practitioners were tortured to the verge of death.

The guards also forced the practitioners to do slave labor by working them 16 hours a day. Once, guards in the Masanjia Labor Camp forced Dafa practitioners to work 36 hours without a break. This long-term physical and psychological torture severely damaged Dafa practitioners' mental and physical health. In order to cover up their crimes, Jiang's group strictly blocked all information, and for a long time deprived firm Dafa practitioners of their right to family visits. Often these practitioners' families did not even know if their incarcerated loved ones were still alive.

Spurred on by Jiang's inhumane policy, "cut them off financially, destroy them mentally, annihilate them physically; beating to death is nothing and shall be counted as suicide," the vicious police acted with even more cruelty, insanity and without any restraint. Many Dafa practitioners were tortured to death yet the murderers are still free. Jiang's villainous group also used the system of "implication" by persecuting Dafa practitioners' families, which forced many practitioners' spouses to divorce them. Countless families have been broken up. These vicious police pry open the doors to Dafa practitioners' homes at any time and break in; they ransack practitioners' homes at will; they steal practitioners' money and possessions and arrest the practitioners. They are nothing more than robbers and burglars. In order to fulfill their personal interests, the vicious police fine Dafa practitioners without cause, extorting huge sums of money. Some practitioners have been arrested many times and almost all of their money has been stolen by the assessment of "fines." Some were even forced to sell their homes. When the police arrest practitioners, they first search the practitioners and steal all the money they have. During this unprecedented persecution, even 80-year-old practitioners and under-aged children have not been spared. Where is the respect for law? Where is the respect for human dignity?

Right now, within Liaoning Province, countless Dafa practitioners have been forced to leave home and roam about to avoid further persecution. Countless more practitioners are being detained in labor camps, detention centers, jails and brainwashing centers, where they are brutally tortured both physically and mentally. Many of them have lost their lives. Even practitioners who are still able to stay at home are being constantly harassed, monitored and followed by local police. Furthermore, their salaries have been cut off and they have been unreasonably fired.

Therefore, all Dafa practitioners in Liaoning Province, including those who have left home, those who are being tortured in labor camps, or those who are suffering persecution to different degrees wish to sue Jiang Zemin, so the head criminal can receive due punishment, so the good will be protected, and Jiang's attempt to destroy "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance" will be brought to an end.

All Dafa practitioners in Liaoning Province, People's Republic of China, sincerely request the International Court and/or the World Human Rights Organization(s) to assist the righteous and punish the evil. Stop Jiang's inhuman abuse of "Truth, Compassion, Tolerance" and let the world be filled with peace and love!
