(Clearwisdom.net) Three Western Falun Gong Practitioners from Los Angeles arrived at Los Angeles Airport at 7:30 p.m. on February 15, 2002 after appealing in Tiananmen Square. Over 40 local practitioners warmly welcomed them. The three practitioners were 22-year-old university student Mark Gardner, 25-year-old economic consultant Albert Roman and 29-year-old Chinese herbalist doctor Gina Sanchez. Chinese police beat Mark and Albert, especially Mark, resulting in extravasated blood on his right cheek still visible and bruises on his left cheek. The three practitioners recounted the course of their appeal on Tiananmen Square. Later they had a group photo and sung "Falun Dafa Hao" [Falun Dafa is Good] with all their fellow practitioners welcoming their return.
