Today, 203 people made solemn declarations and declared that all their words and actions that went against the Fa are all invalid. They restated that they were Falun Gong practitioners. The Nanshan Detention Center in Shulan City, Jilin Province tortured Falun Gong practitioners who went on hunger strike. Falun Gong practitioner, Li Ke, and other three practitioners had been forcefully fed everyday. Jiang Yan's blood pressure reached to 170 and 220, accompanied with the symptoms of heart attack. Yin Limei experienced symptoms from her pregnancy. Ignoring their physical conditions, the cell supervisor asked six and seven inmates to hold them down, pinch their noses and force-feed them. Jiang choked for about ten minutes. Yin was forced to take an injection which caused pain in her stomach and back, and bleeding in her stomach.

Practitioner Peng Wangyuan and his wife were laid off from work, but they did not take to the streets or hold sit-in protests like other laid-off workers to demand their salaries. Instead, they silently endured the hardship and left town to get temporary jobs in order to spare troubles for the government. However, such good people were unreasonably arrested by the police. Peng Wangyuan was sentenced to four years in prison just because he practices Falun Gong. Right now, his parents, who are in their 70's, and his daughter, who is still in school, are left alone at home.

On January 27, 2002, after the 19 Falun Dafa practitioners who were illegally detained at the Third Anshan Detention Center sent forth righteous thoughts and openly and aboveboard stepped out the den of monsters, the Police Department of Liaoning Province and the Anshan Municipal Public Security Bureau kidnapped all of their family members and relatives. The family members and relatives have, since January 27, been unlawfully detained.
