A disciplinary guard in a city in Northeast China said to the prisoners, "You should not beat Falun Gong practitioners." When the foreman willingly asked about Falun Dafa, the practitioners made use of the opportunity to explain the Fa to him, telling him that he should not beat the Falun Gong practitioners who come later. Upon hearing this, he nodded his head in agreement.

A section chief wanted to nominate a Falun Dafa practitioner as a "Civilized Citizen", instead of accepting the nomination, the practitioner recommended another co-worker. The practitioner filled out the application form for nominating the co-worker and explained to the co-worker that, "The criteria I use to judge a person is his/her attitude towards 'Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance'. You meet such a standard."

Today ninety-two people issued their Solemn Declarations in which they expressed that all the words and actions under the evil forced brainwashing and extreme pressure of the persecution, which were not in conformity with Dafa are void. From now on, they will redouble their efforts to compensate for losses by clarifying the truth to the world's people so as to catch up with the Teacher's Fa-rectification process.

Dafa practitioner Liang Shuyun from Fushun was illegally detained in Fushun No.1 Labor Camp after going to Beijing to appeal for Dafa. She was tortured to death on March 17. The responsible units and their telephone numbers are:

The appeal of Falun Gong practitioners from Shuancheng, Heilongjiang Province: At the present time, there are large groups of detained Dafa practitioners in the detention centers of the city's public security bureau. Three have already been beaten to death. The special task group of the public security bureau, led by Zhang Guofu, arrested and beat practitioners without cause, detaining them and fining them. This resulted in the break up of practitioners' families because many were forced to leave home to avoid further persecution. We appeal to all kind-hearted people to please help stop the injustice and to be fair to these good people.

On January 15, vicious police officers from Qingnian Road Police Station in Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province kidnapped Dafa practitioners Zhao Li, Zhao Jun, Zhang Qing and Du Yunfeng from their rented lodging place. The police confiscated all of their machinery, appliances, Dafa materials and all of their money and personal property. After the four practitioners were tortured to the verge of death, they were turned over into the hands of Huaibei police personnel, and right now they are being detained in Huaibei City's No. 1 Detention Center, Anhui Province.

A family in Northeast China had money extorted from them and were persecuted because they practice Falun Gong. The three family members were illegally detained and tortured after they went to Beijing to appeal. The husband was illegally sentenced to two years of forced labor, but was refused admittance by the labor camp because he showed acute hepatitis symptoms. These practitioners had money extorted from them and their home was ransacked numerous times.

News From Abroad

Practitioners in the San Francisco Bay area held a weeklong, peaceful protest in front of the city government offices. People who learned the truth from these practitioners were stunned by the Chinese government's brutality. One American immediately called his Chinese colleague and asked him to come to learn the truth. He also asked a Dafa practitioner to use his cell phone so he could talk to his colleague and clarify the truth in Chinese.

Geneva ATS March 21 report: Falun Gong practitioners from around the world held a group hunger appeal in a prominent city square to protest the Chinese ruling dictator regime's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

Views and Experiences in Cultivation

I want to go home. I'm now 65 years old. My wife is 61 years old. We have been practicing Falun Gong for over 4 years. As a result, we became healthy and our Xinxing [mind nature, moral character] has been improved. In May 2001, because the police frequently harassed us, we became homeless and had to move from place to place to avoid further persecution. But we felt very happy because we are able to continue cultivating ourselves, studying the Fa, sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate evil and clarifying the truth to people.

Suggestions for files such as "Eye Witness Accounts." In the first part, the evil people's name, gender, age, workplace, and telephone number should be given. The second part should describe the details of their malicious crimes such as: time, location, whom they persecuted, degree of the persecution and which part of the law that they have violated. The third part could list the evil people's relatives' phone numbers and workplaces, so that people could contact them and clarify the truth to them. When we write articles about the practitioners who were tortured to death, it would be better if we can express their greatness.

Doubly make up for the loss and follow the process of Fa-rectification: I obtained the Fa in 1997. I had been to Beijing three times to validate Dafa. I had been detained in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. I had unfortunately "enlightened" along an evil path. When I gained my senses back, I felt extremely sorrowful and grieved and doubly cherish Dafa. I once again went to Beijing to rectify the Fa. Facing the crowd of people who were coming toward me, I calmly unfurled a Dafa banner and shouted loudly: "Falun Dafa is good!" I returned safely.

I met Dafa along the path to seek the truth (1). When I was 15 years old, I started to be very interested in philosophy and some other branches of science. Along the path to seek the truth, I had walked alone along the Changjiang River, thinking about the real purpose of this life. When I borrowed from my colleague the newly published "Falun Buddha Law---Lecture in the U.S", I understood that it is this law of the universe that I had been seeking for.

The story before and after a vagrant obtained Fa (Part 2): After the Fa conference, I met Na Nuo at the appointed place and he was full of joy and very excited. I said: "You saw the Teacher!" He said: "Yes. In fact, when I was in Los Angeles, I knew the Teacher would come out before I went there." I saw him with surprise. "A voice always said: See the Teacher. See the Teacher. Therefore, I decided to come. I am really happy to see the Teacher."

Brief stories of Dafa practitioners rectifying the Fa

In the morning of March 5, a factory in some city of northern China hung an evil scroll that slandered Dafa. All Dafa practitioners in that factory sent out the righteous thoughts at 12 pm on that day to eliminate the evil force. The two ends of the scroll were broken neatly after 3pm in the afternoon of March 6.

A female Dafa practitioner from the northeast was two months pregnant. She held up a banner at Tiananmen Square and was arrested. She did not reveal her name and address. She was detained in the Fangshan Detention Center, Beijing, for twenty days. Her number was F27. After she fasted 17 days, the public security sent her to the train and she left Beijing.

On a day in February 2002, a Dafa practitioner from a county in Qinghai Province arrived at Tiananmen Square by himself. It was during the time when America's President Bush would be coming to Tiananmen Square. The armed police were checking the Square. This practitioner shouted in his loudest voice: "Falun Dafa is good!" "Restore the reputation of my Teacher!" This practitioner's righteous thoughts were very strong, enabling him to depart safely.
