On May 13, World Falun Dafa Day, practitioners in a city of Hubei Province hung up hundreds of big Dafa banners in city streets. Many police drove to the sites, but since the banners were all hung up high, the police had difficulty getting them down. The evil beings were shocked.

Around 3 AM on May 19, 2002, Dafa practitioners in a city of Heilongjiang Province hung two Dafa banners on a shopping center building located in the downtown area. Both banners were 3 feet wide and 36 feet long. One read, "In the vastness of the cosmos, a wheel of golden light. The enlightened one descends to the world, Towards whom both heaven and earth face." [From <Hongyin>, "Assimilation and Consummation"] The two banners stayed on the building until 7 AM, when the shopping center opened. People who were up early enough to see the banners were quite inspired.

Currently, the Changchun City Police Department is installing monitoring software on the computers at Internet cafes in Changchun City and five surrounding counties. The software can detect "sensitive" information and send it to computers in the police department. The police can then get to the Internet Cafe within 10 minutes.

Also, Changchun City Police Department is establishing a system like the residence white pages, through which they can obtain the phone users' personal information (names, addresses, etc.) once they know the phone number. With help from the system, the police can easily find people who own the phone numbers. We hope that practitioners in Changchun City will send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil behind the persecution using this communication technology.

In order to control the Internet, the Jiang-Luo regime recently made a series of rules for browsing the web. In Hefei area of Anhui Province, the persecutors plan to install monitoring software on the computers of Internet cafes, using the excuse of controlling online access to "adult material". Their real purpose is to arrest the practitioners who read Dafa materials online. We hope that practitioners who use the Internet will be careful.

When Jiang arrived at Chengdu City, the police were heavily guarding the city. All bridges were especially guarded to prevent practitioners from unfurling banners and distributing fliers. Before Jiang's arrival, the community offices of the city plotted to abduct practitioners and detain them in a suburban area. They lied to practitioners by saying that they wanted to "take them for a sight-seeing trip to the new district of the city and the farms." The practitioners saw through the lies and firmly refused, thereby foiling the plot.

On May 9, 2002, police heavily guarded many streets in Chengdu City. There was an officer every 15 feet. Protected by numerous army and police guards, eight buses drove through the city center. People realized that Jiang had arrived. This news was quickly spread among the local practitioners. They immediately recognized the important opportunity to eliminate the factors in other dimensions controlling the head of the evil. The practitioners sent forth powerful righteous thoughts continuously. When practitioners learned that Jiang would attend a performance at the Jincheng Art Center, many Dafa practitioners gathered around the building to send forth righteous thoughts. During the 4-day period of Jiang's stay, the practitioners were very tired, yet they firmly persisted in their efforts. When Jiang left, the streets were once again heavily guarded. The practitioners still went to the streets to send forth righteous thoughts.

According to inside sources, there will be a massive hunt for practitioners in Harbin City on May 25, 2002. Because the evil forces have seen that they are doomed, they have been hunting for practitioners in all areas of Heilongjiang Province. We suggest that practitioners in the province send forth righteous thoughts at 7:00, 8:00, and 9:00 PM every day, besides the 4 times of global sending forth righteous thoughts every day, to eliminate the plot of the "610 office" of the province to arrest 6,000 practitioners. Around 3 AM on April 19, 2002, a huge number of police guards went to Jile Temple and hid around the place. The police were there because there was a rumor that "Falun Gong practitioners would commit self-immolation and suicide." The police were there for the whole day, yet they did not see any practitioners. Later on, it was said that the matter was "cleared up," -- it was a child's lie. These days, serious rumors are being spread, like the one in Changchun city that said, "Falun Gong practitioners will kill 500 boys and girls," the one in Shuangcheng City that "Falun Gong practitioners will kill 100 children," and now the one in Harbin City about a "self-immolation." The evil all over the country is relying on slander and rumors to deceive people and maintain their last days. However, more and more people are waking up to the truth.

On May 11, 2002, some wicked police in Jiamusi City arrested 7 practitioners that were in a rented place. The practitioners were: Zhang Xiaogeng, Jiang Guosheng, Zhang Xiang, Zhang Huiru, Zhao Chonghua, Li Qin, and Dong Xueyan.

Recently, practitioners in a county of Sichuan Province hung a huge Dafa banner in the street. The banner was 5 feet wide and 33 feet long. The brave deed shocked everyone in the county and scared the evil. The police than started to recklessly arrest practitioners. As of today, over 10 practitioners have been abducted to the county detention center. We hope that practitioners who have seen this message send forth righteous thoughts to help eliminate the evil in the area.

Around 8:50 AM on May 15, 2002, when a fellow practitioner from Chengdu City and I were passing Kunming City, Yunnan Province on a trip, two armed police guards stopped us and opened our bags. Some important Dafa materials and 2,000 Yuan [Chinese currency. The average monthly salary of an urban worker in China is about 500 Yuan, but only 200 Yuan for a rural worker] were taken away, and my fellow practitioner was arrested.

Nanwei Police Station, under Jiadong Police Sub-department, often harasses the local practitioners. It is believed that each police guard in the station is expected to arrest 2 Dafa practitioners; otherwise they won't be paid. Recently, the guards went to practitioner Qi's home in Jianan Farming Scientific Institute and knocked on the door. When no one answered, they tried to break into the apartment through a window. Yet they could not get in because all windows were tightly shut. Later on, the persecutors stopped a practitioner's son in the corridor and searched his body for the keys. They failed to find anything. At this time, a kind person bought the child some food, seeing that he had not eaten. The wicked police then questioned the person: "Why do you buy food for him?" The kind person replied, "The child is innocent, so is his mother." A few hours later, the police took the child to the police station as a hostage. Another person with a sense of justice went to the police station and brought the child back.

Through his relative, the party secretary of Shandong Province, Luo Gan has been persecuting practitioners in Guan County. Since February 17, the local "610 Office" has ordered over 200 government officials to persecute Dafa practitioners in every village and organized a huge "reform group" to brainwash practitioners in all work units. On April 24, a meeting of county governors of Shandong Province was held at Guan County. The purpose of the meeting was to learn how to persecute Falun Gong. The persecutors force everyone who had read Falun Gong books or practiced the movements to attend the brainwashing classes. In order to meet the "quota," they force those practitioners who were previously released or who had been sent to forced labor camps to attend also. Those practitioners with poor health were sent to brainwashing centers without any treatment. In the brainwashing center, the persecutors used various instruments to viciously torture the practitioners. Not enough food was given to the practitioners; the drinking water was dirty; the practitioners were not even allowed to use the restrooms. They sent those firm practitioners to brainwashing classes held by the provincial government. If they still could not "reform" the practitioners, they then sent them to forced labor camps. Currently, 150 practitioners have been sent to forced labor camps, and 40 practitioners have been sent to brainwashing classes held by the provincial government. Sixty practitioners are detained in the county brainwashing center, and 80 in the county detention center. The persecutors are planning to send another 50 practitioners to forced labor camps. Recently, they made a list of yet another 60 practitioners to be sent to forced labor camps. Many Dafa practitioners are forced to become homeless and destitute.
