(Clearwisdom.net) Fushun City's Wujiabao Forced Labor Camp has served as a useful tool for Jiang's regime's persecution. Wu Wei and Jiang Yongfeng, the head and deputy head of the squad, and other police have been the instruments used to carry out the torture of practitioners. The followings are some torture cases.
- Fushun male practitioners Cui Yuqing of Xinbin County and Gao of Qingyuan County have been detained at the camp since early November of 2000. On the second afternoon after their arrival, the guards started to torture them by ordering them to remain in a posture of "flying" (see "riding an airplane, http://www.geocities.com/transrefs/Torture-tr.html) Then six or seven guards beat and kicked them. When these two practitioners could not stand it any longer, the camp guards just tied their legs together with leather belts and forced them to remain in this position. More than twenty police took turns torturing them until they broke three belts in the process. By that night the two practitioners were on the verge of death, and the guard Jiang Yongfeng still said: "If you two do not give up Falun Gong, I will take the responsibility of beating you to death." In this way these two practitioners were tortured for more than ten days.
- Practitioner Liu Qingchun, a teacher from Xiajiabao of Qingyuan County, was thrown into the camp at the beginning of November 2000. The guards forced him to remain in the "flying" position, tied him up with leather belts, and had twenty people beat his head and face for a whole afternoon. Late in the night they still kept him in the "flying" posture.
- Practitioner Zhao Liankai, an experienced Chinese Medicine doctor from Qingyuan County, was sent to the forced labor camp in 1999. One night in early December 2000, guard Jiang Yongfeng arranged people to keep Zhao in the "flying" posture from 8 p.m. until 1 a.m. While Zhao was not fully conscious from the unbearable torture, they held his hand to write down words slandering Dafa and Teacher. On the second day after regaining consciousness, Zhao took back all that he had been forced to write and tore the papers into pieces.
- Male practitioners Yuan Peng of Xiahe village, Fushun County and Yao Songdong, a Masters degree holder who worked in Fushun Petrochemical Institute, were brutally beaten by camp guards at around 8 p.m. one day in late December 2000. Policeman Jiang Yongfeng thought that they were short on manpower and transferred more than 20 police officers from other squads in order to torture these two practitioners. They tied up the practitioners' legs and forced them to maintain the "flying" posture for 3 hours. The guards broke three belts during the torture. Finally, no longer being able to stand the torture, both practitioners suffered mental collapses.
- Liaoning Province practitioners Yao Yanhui of Huludao, a college graduate and Meng Fanqiang of Fushun City were sent to the woman's detention team several times between March and April of 2001. The women's and men's guards jointly tortured them.
- Practitioner Li Zhongguo, a farmer from Gushanzi village, Qingyuan County, Fushun, suffered a mental collapse from the severe torture and still cannot lead a normal life.
- After the 2002 Spring Festival, more than 20 female practitioners were detained in isolation chambers or were kept under the surveillance by male criminals who shared the same entrance with the practitioners' cells.
- On April 13, 2002, male practitioners Cheng Yuanlong, Liu Shaochang, Cu Hongxi, Li Gang, and Liu Ye were dragged out, beaten, and thrown into isolation cells because they were caught sending forth righteous thoughts. The guards wore out or broke several leather belts while using them to beat the practitioners.
- On April 18, 2002, 27 practitioners went on a hunger strike to protest their inhuman treatment. Among them, male practitioners Cheng Xiefeng and Li Hengliang were confined in small cells. Several guards repeatedly shocked male practitioners Li Hengliang, Feng Xinghua and Lin Bo with six electric batons at the same time. The police tortured the practitioners until they ran out of batteries. Then they re-charged the batons and shocked them again. This torture was repeated many times.
- Guard Wang Zhengjin privately told some criminals that they would receive 20-day reduction of their sentences for forcing a practitioner into submission. In this way the forced labor camp pushed inmates to persecute practitioners.
They forced Meng to stand in the "flying" position many times and beat him. His face and nose became bruised and swollen. Meng was crippled for several days afterwards.
The women's and men's squad jointly tortured Yao. His face was distorted with bruises and swelling. His fingers and soles were full of needle punctures. They did not allow him to sleep for eight days and nights, and tied him up in the "flying" posture. Several days later, Yao lost feeling and mobility in his legs and feet. He became bedridden and had to be carried to go to restroom.
What has been mentioned above is only the tip of the iceberg of the persecution at Wujiabao Forced Labor Camp. For its crude persecution of Dafa and practitioners, this camp was honored as a "civilized" labor camp by Jiang's regime. The camp even set up an "ideology education school".
