(Clearwisdom.net) From July 26 to 28, practitioners from South Dakota held a 3-day Journey of Falun Dafa Photo Exhibition at the state capital, Pierre.
South Dakota is a vast but thinly populated state, and since it has been only a short period since Dafa was introduced here, most people do not know much about it. However, no matter how difficult it is, nothing could hold back practitioners' steps to "spread the Fa and save people with mercy." During the process of application, although the parties concerned gave us 3 days to hold the photo exhibition, they did not allow practitioners to show those pictures displaying the persecution. After discussion, practitioners realized that this was interference from the evil (in other dimensions). Thus, while sending forth righteous thoughts, practitioners used principles acceptable to everyday people to clarify the truth about the persecution. For example, most photos displaying the persecution were taken by the press and were published. This persecution is completely vicious and has been consistently condemned by all kind-hearted people over the world. In the end, the problem was solved very smoothly. From this episode, practitioners once again experienced the mighty power of sending forth righteous thoughts and clarifying the truth.
Meanwhile, practitioners also sent out truth-clarifying materials to state government officials, all assemblymen and some Mayors and county commissioners, which allowed these people's representatives to obtain the chance to learn about Dafa. Newspapers of the state Capital, Pierre, covered this event.
Although we had only 3 days to hold the photo exhibition, practitioners formed a united entity and cooperated with each other very smoothly. Almost all practitioners participated in the activity and we improved holistically, which effectively suffocated the evil. In order to deliver the posters without affecting other Dafa work, practitioners from another state who provided the posters stayed up all night. Because other practitioners live fairly far from the state capital, a local western practitioner did most of the work despite the fact that he is extremely busy with his work. In order to participate in the photo exhibition and at the same time take good care of her family, a female practitioner drove a long distance back and forth every day for the 3 days. It was just like Teacher said in "Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Boston:" "We're doing these things with our hearts, while they're doing things with money--they could never compare."
