Truth of the Persecution

I went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in 1999. I was stopped on my way and was sent back and detained at Shuangyashan City Detention Center in Heilongjiang Province. Later I was sent for one-year of forced labor at Xigemu Labor Camp in Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province. In the labor camp, the police did not allow me to see my family. We started a hunger strike to protest. The police force-fed us and brutally beat those who did not cooperate. The labor camp also broadcast lies that slander Falun Gong day and night to torture us spiritually. After I was released, the "610 Office" (an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems), the police station and the neighborhood committee kept harassing me at "sensitive" times.

The "Close Supervision Team" of Shayang Labor Camp in Hubei Province detains Falun Gong practitioners and forcefully brainwashes them using high pressure. They use all kinds of means to torture practitioners, such as having them hung up in the air with their arms bonded in the back, not allowing them to sleep, forcing them to carry a sword (a type of torture in which the practitioner's hands are tied behind his back with one hand over the shoulder and the other hand against the lower back. The police then apply a great deal of force to pull the two hands toward one another and handcuff the two hands together.), beating them and shocking them with electric batons, etc. Many practitioners were beaten with scars all over their bodies. Practitioners are forced to stand straight under the sun or squat. Many fainted. All practitioners feel severe pains and numbness in the feet and legs. They could not walk. The vicious police also force practitioners to listen to slanders and fabrications about Falun Gong everyday.

Righteous Thoughts and Righteous Actions

In Yanbian Area, Jilin Province there is a family of three that all practice Falun Gong. Even though they have been persecuted many times, they are not shaken in their belief. Since July 20, 1999 they have gone to the provincial government and Beijing many times to appeal for Falun Gong. They were arrested many times, illegally detained and sent for forced labor camps. Yet as soon as they were released they would continue to clarify the truth and expose the evil. They have been to every county and town in Yanbian Area. Currently the wife has been detained at Yanbian Detention Center for a year. The husband was arrested again in November 2000 and was sentenced to 2-year term in prison, and was later sent to a brainwashing class. Later he showed the symptom of apoplexy and was released. After studying Fa and practicing the exercises, he has recovered. Currently the husband and the son (who is not allowed to go to school) are forced to leave home and wander around.
