Righteous Thoughts and Righteous Actions
The following is an excerpt from the article "Walking out of the Detention Center in a Dignified Manner."
On December 28, 2002, a Falun Dafa disciple from Beijing was arrested while passing out Falun Dafa truth-clarification materials. No matter what, the police could not get any personal information out of him. Two days later, he was sent to the district detention center. He still refused to answer any questions and refused to recite any of the jail's regulations or acknowledge his assigned number. He refused to wear the jail uniform and went on hunger strike without water to protest. Police tried to force-feed him, but he resolutely resisted. He used every opportunity to clarify the truth of Falun Dafa to other prisoners and police, and he sent forth righteous thoughts constantly. Under the arrangement of Master and with the help of his fellow practitioners, after ten days of hunger strike without water, he was released unconditionally on January 9, 2003, and walked out of the detention center in a dignified manner.
The following is an excerpt from the article "The Cultivation Story of an Older Falun Dafa Disciple."
I'm an older Falun Dafa practitioner. Before obtaining the Fa, I spent half a year in hospitals every year. I was lucky enough to obtain the Fa in the spring of 1998. I changed from looking like an older woman in her sixties into a woman who looks like she is in her forties. It was Master and his Dafa that gave me a second life. My husband and I kept studying the Fa and practicing the exercises after the evil persecution started in 1999. We spread the Fa whenever we have the chance. The village head did some bad things against Dafa, and his wife ended up not being able to work as a result. I helped them with their harvest for three days in the fall. Their family members told me, "We should thank you a great deal." I told them, "If you want to express your gratitude, please thank my Master. Please remember Falun Dafa is good!"
Facts of the Persecution
Dalian Falun Dafa disciple Li Lili went to Beijing to validate the Fa on January 16, 2003, and was arrested by the police. On January 17, the local police asked her mother for money so they could retrieve her from Beijing, but they were refused. Ms. Li Lili was unemployed long ago, and had no money because of the persecution. Her over seventy-year-old mother could not bear the pressure and left home without a word. Their family members are extremely worried about their whereabouts.
The following is an excerpt from the article "Facts of the Persecution Passed on from Inside Jail."
I was arrested by police from the Panjin Oil Field Station. Like wild animals, they inhumanly tortured me. I suffered a cut on my head that bled profusely, and my ears went deaf for thirty days. They handcuffed me onto a tiger bench [Practitioners are forced to sit on a small iron bench that is approximately 20 cm (6 inches) tall with their knees tied together. With their hands tied behind their backs or sometimes placed on their knees, they are forced to sit straight up and look straight ahead. They are not allowed to turn their heads, close their eyes, talk to anyone or move at all. Several inmates are assigned to watch over the practitioners and force them to remain motionless while sitting on the bench. Usually some hard objects are inserted underneath the practitioners' lower legs or ankles to make it harder for them to tolerate this abuse (see illustration on <http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2001/11/24/16156.html>)], fixed me there tightly and shocked me with electric batons. I lost consciousness and was sent to the hospital for emergency rescue. On the way back to the detention center, one police officer grabbed my private area and threatened to disfigure me. Later they made up a false confession, and based on this "statement" the court sentenced me to four years in prison.
