Below are my personal understandings regarding anti-reform and determination.

Up until the current time of Fa-rectification, why would a small portion of people, even some who did well before, become "reformed?" Many Dafa practitioners think this is the result of the old force's arrangements, and some practitioners thought these practitioners had xinxing gaps that were taken advantage of by the evil. Personally, I think the core issue is only one word: faith. The key to break through the "reform" type of persecution is not how to understand the Fa principles completely without omission and without doubt, is not to cultivate ourselves so all of a sudden we have no omissions or attachments; the key is to have fundamental and absolute, determined faith in Dafa without conditions or reservations. Regardless of whether or not we have any doubts in our minds -- we must be absolutely determined and realize all that doubt is not our true selves. The true determination originates from the nature of a being assimilating to Dafa. This determination does not need any cause or reasons. It is a being's intuitive reaction. It is a being's true nature.

Truth About Persecution

The thugs at Anshan City Labor Camp in Liaoning Province have used brutal torture methods to brainwash Dafa practitioners. They didn't allow practitioners to sleep and forced them to stand and "repent." They humiliated the practitioners by ridiculing and cursing them; if the practitioners closed their eyes slightly, the thugs would force them to wear a safety helmet and hit it with an iron hammer; or they would place a louder speaker right beside the practitioner's ear and turn it to maximum volume; they would also beat drums and cymbals next to the ears of the practitioners to shock their ears. Dafa practitioner Li Wei was beaten so severely he lost control of his bowels; practitioner Tian Baodong was weak but was still tortured for three days and nights.

The lawless officials from the 4th Railway Research Institute, Wuchang, Wuhan City, along with vicious police from the security section of the institute kidnapped employees Guan Yeqing, Liu Mingrong and Fang Xinghua and sent them to the Tangxunhu Legal and Law Education Center in Wuhan City to be forcibly brainwashed and brutally tortured. Collaborators [former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray due to severe torture and brainwashing] Guo Haiou and Zhang Weiyu cooperated with the evil forces and even asked to work for the "610 Office." The security section head Li Xiangsen and Qiao Jianhe threatened Dafa practitioners with death and sent practitioners to labor camps to be tortured. 19 practitioners were injured and 2 practitioners suffered mental collapse due to severe torture.
