(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioner Wang Liping is from Kuerle, Ba Prefecture, Xinjiang Autonomous Region. He graduated from the People's University of China, and worked at the Kuerle City Real Estate Management Department. At the end of 2001, he went to Tiananmen Square to appeal to the government to stop persecuting Falun Dafa. The police from the Tiananmen Subdivision of the Beijing Police Department arrested him, and sent him to the Beijing Daxing Detention Center. The policemen there used a form of water torture and poured large quantities of ice-cold water on him over a long period of time, causing him to incur serious disabilities. His muscles atrophied, he had nerve damage, he became incontinent, and he lost his voice due to vocal cord strain. After even more torture, he lost his memory, became paralyzed, and couldn't take care of himself.
Because the officials at the Daxing Detention Center feared taking responsibility his condition as a result of their actions, they lied about the situation. They claimed that Wang Liping went on a hunger strike, causing all of these problems, and used this as an excuse to send him to the Criminal Section of the Seventh Division of the Beijing Police Department Hospital, where the torture continued for months. Nevertheless, Wang Liping still firmly believed in Dafa. As soon as he recovered his voice a little, he recited several poems from Hongyin to demonstrate the firmness of his belief. He validated Dafa with his firm and strong mind and his actions. They released him in July of 2002. Because of the severity of the torture, he still could not walk at the time of his release.
Dafa practitioner Xie Ge, from Shanghai, went to Beijing to appeal to the government to stop persecuting Falun Gong right after the July 1999 decision (the date that Falun Gong was banned in China). At the end of 2001 the police arrested him, and sent him to the Daxing Tiantanghe brainwashing center to be tortured. His belief in Dafa remained firm, and he went on a hunger strike for more than 100 days. The police sent him to the Daxing Hospital for force-feeding. Then they sent him to the Beijing Police Department Hospital for more torture. The nurses filled his arms with needle marks from the infusions, until they were too horrible to look at. They couldn't even find a new vein to give him an injection. Because Xie Ge wouldn't cooperate with the force-feedings, they cuffed his hands to the headboard and his feet to the footboard of a bed for a long period of time, and used different methods of torture on him. In spite of the torture, Xie Ge used every opportunity (when he was not cuffed) to sit in meditation and send forth righteous thoughts. If anyone stopped him, he would recite Fa-rectification verses, which frightened them very much. The policemen feared that the prisoners in other rooms could hear it, so they turned on the air blower to create noise. Then they closed all of the doors, so as to conceal their fear. A non-practitioner in the medical room reported that, of all the practitioners he had witnessed, Xie Ge resisted the most and was tortured the most. Toward the end of his time in prison, even the police were afraid to see him. Xie Ge's righteous thoughts and actions genuinely demonstrated a Dafa practitioner's spirit of selflessness and fearlessness. The evil exhausted all of their tricks and still couldn't shake Xie Ge's righteous belief a tiny bit. Finally, in April 2002, they released him.
Dafa practitioner Wang Fu from the Chaoyang District, Beijing, became destitute and homeless in 2001, in order to avoid capture and brainwashing. He was unable to evade the police. They arrested him, and imprisoned him at Division Seven of the Beijing Police Department. During 2002, to resist the evil's persecution, he went on a hunger strike for four months. In November, he again went on a hunger strike. His current situation is unknown. We hope all Dafa practitioners who read this will send forth righteous thoughts to help him break out of prison as soon as possible with his righteous thoughts.
The police arrested Dafa practitioner Chen Zhengbiao from Chaoyang District, Beijing, in September 2001. After he was already in prison for nearly half a year, he was sentenced to four years in prison.
Toward the end of 2001, the police arrested an older Dafa practitioner, Yang Shili, from Chaoyang District, Beijing, when he was distributing truth-clarifying materials. They sentenced him to a year and a half in a labor camp. He is now at the Tuanhe Labor Camp in Beijing. We hope all the Dafa practitioners who read this will send forth righteous thoughts to help him break out of the trap arranged by the old forces as soon as possible with his righteous thoughts.
During 2001, the Chaoyang Subdivision of the Beijing Police Department illegally sentenced 182 Dafa practitioners to labor camps and 8 Dafa practitioners to prison.
At the end of 1999, the police arrested Dafa practitioner Huang Jian from Shijingshan District, Beijing, when he was doing passing out truth clarification flyers. They illegally sentenced him to a year in a labor camp. Because he refused to renounce his belief in Falun Dafa, when his term was over, the police extended it for another half year, during which they continued the inhuman torture. In October of 2001, less than a year after his release, they arrested him again, and then again in July 2002. They detained him in September at Division Seven of the Beijing Police Department. His current situation is unknown.
Because of the severity of the torture, Deng Jinghua from Haidian District, Beijing, made a wrong decision and helped the police to brainwash other Dafa practitioners. The police assigned him to the Baoding Labor Camp to "re-educate" firm Dafa practitioner Liu Yongwang. Liu, however, steadfastly maintained his righteous beliefs, leading Deng Jinghua to feel great resentment. We hope someone who knows Deng Jinghua's phone number will provide it, so that we can help him to repent, to stop committing evil deeds, and to be saved.
The police arrested Beijing Dafa practitioners Xie Hua and Sun Yi before the 16th Party Congress. After a month's hunger strike they both managed to escape.
