1. The Power of Righteous ThoughtsWhenever I sent forth righteous thoughts in the past, I would get sleepy. I knew this was interference from the evil so I tried hard to eliminate it, but the effect was not always so good. After the publication of Teacher's article "Righteous Thoughts," I did exactly according to what Teacher told us. One day, as I sent forth righteous thoughts, I focused my thoughts intensively in saying the word "Mie" after the formula to eliminate the evil. Ten minutes later, a giant demon appeared in front of me and bowed to ask for mercy. The focused power of my thoughts became stronger and stronger at that moment, and I added the word "Mie" again after I repeated the formula. The demon was then completely eliminated and, from that point on, my head has become clear whenever I send forth righteous thoughts.
2. A Kind WomanA Falun Dafa practitioner who was forced to leave her home and become homeless due to the intense pressure from the police was abducted in a Chinese city in November 2001. A lot of people witnessed the event. One woman in her 20's said angrily, "I know she is a good person. Nowadays, how could such a good person be arrested while the police act so evilly!?" She told other Falun Dafa practitioners in the area, "I'll alert you if they come again."
3. Beautiful Harmonious MusicOne day I was enjoying the Dafa music "Pudu" and "Jishi" while working on the Internet. Suddenly, the "visualization" function of "windows media player" displayed very beautiful and unusual patterns, symmetric and harmonious in nature. When I changed to different visualization modes and played some musical works by other practitioners, beautiful patterns displayed on the screen as well. Even when I played the classical music piece "Ode to Notre Dame", the patterns were still beautiful. However, when I played some modern style rock and roll, the patterns became jarred and chaotic. It disturbed your mind to look at them.
From this, I realized the following principle: Beautiful things will make everything around them beautiful. Everything assimilated to Dafa exhibits pure harmony and beauty.
4. One Righteous Mind Subdues One-Hundred Evils
Some practitioners were hindered for a long period of time by their family members who are non-cultivators, and didn't do everything openly and aboveboard in helping Teacher to save sentient beings. They thought they should not hold their family members to the same standards as cultivators, and failed to remove their family members' fears of the persecution and degenerate notions that "the righteous is afraid of the evil." This provided a loophole for the evil to interfere with their family members endlessly. On one hand, a practitioner's compassion should extend beyond their family members and the volume of their hearts should increase so that their powerful energy fields will rectify all unrighteous states in their families. On the other hand, we should keep clarifying the truth to our family members and send forth righteous thoughts to remove their fears of the evil persecution. We should tell our family members openly and nobly that "the evil will never defeat the righteousness" and "one righteous mind subdues one-hundred evils."
