Liao Ancai, male, 46 years old, lives in Team one of Wuxing Village, Langhuan Township, Xichang city, Sichuan province.
In April 2000, headed by Li Yuxu, the police from the Xichang City Public Security Bureau Division One illegally ransacked Liao's home without showing any documents. Because he refused to give up his copy of Zhuan Falun [the main book of Falun Gong], he was detained for one month. During the detention, he was beaten so frequently that his body was bruised all over. The inmates also extorted money from him.
In September 2000, he was illegally arrested again and was held in Yuexi County's Detention Center for one month. He was kicked and punched by police officer Zhou Xin.
In November 2000, he was illegally sentenced to one and a half years in a forced labor camp, because he copied Dafa materials. As a result, he was forced to become homeless for more than five months to avoid further persecution. During this time, his relatives and friends were persecuted to various degrees, including his daughter, a college student, his son, a high school student, and his 90-year-old mother, who was left unattended. Evil persons frequently harassed his family at home, and his daughter and son were under constant threat.
On March 8, 2001, he distributed Dafa materials in Huili County and was arrested. The police tortured him using all means, and then handcuffed him outside for 24 hours, with no food or water, or use of the toilet allowed. Then he was transferred to Xichang County Detention Center, where he was again illegally sentenced to two years in a forced labor camp. He was next sent to the Xinhua Forced Labor Camp in Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, and is held there to this day. It is said that he refuses to cooperate with the brainwashing in the forced labor camp. Once the Mianyang TV station was there shooting footage about how practitioners were "transformed", he stood up and shouted: "Falun Dafa is good!" They tied him up with ropes, kicking and punching him and shocked him with electric batons. He refuses to recite the inmate's rules, and he was forced to stand in the "army corps" posture until 2 or 3 a.m. every day, and at 5 a.m. he was made to stand in the same posture again; this lasted for several months. During this period of time, through the torture of "training" the police tortured him physically and devastated him mentally. We appeal to all the kind-hearted people to hurry up and rescue all illegally jailed Falun Dafa practitioners.
Lu Yuancui, female, 45 years old, Liao Ancai's wife, lives in Team one of Wuxing Village, Langhuan County, Xichang City.
She obtained physical health and mental peace after practicing Falun Gong in 1998, but her family has been broken because of persecution since the evil campaign against Falun Gong started in 1999.
In May 2000, she went to Beijing to validate Dafa , and was kicked, punched, and dragged to the Tiananmen Police Substation. Then she was taken back by the Liangshan County Stationary Office in Beijing and detained for one month.
In September 2000, she sent her daughter to the university and worked outside. Fearing that she would appeal in Beijing again, the local police threatened her sister and brother-in-law to turn her in, otherwise her brother-in-law would lose his job as a principal. Her son is a 15 year old high school student. They talked with his teacher, threatened him to turn in his mother; otherwise he would be kicked out of school. They also found and made trouble for her daughter, and intimidated the university into dismissing her. Many other relatives and friends were pressured and threatened to various degrees.
On February 15, 2001, Lu Yuancui was kidnapped and held in a brainwashing center by Xicheng Police Substation for four months. Because she refused to be brainwashed, the police from the First Section of Xichang City Public Security Bureau tied her up and exposed her to the scorching sun for several hours. She passed out for a long time; it was so inhuman that even the police, guards, officials and other staff felt sorry and dared not look at her. The evil police also said, "If she dies of torture, it will be counted as suicide," and, "China is short of everything except human beings."
On October 29, 2002 to prevent her from appealing during the Party's 16th National Conference, she was kidnapped again, taken to a brainwashing center and detained there for 40 days.
