Persecution Facts

On December 12, 2002, female Falun Gong practitioner Guo Lirong was abducted from her home in Chengdu City and sent to the Chengdu Municipal Detention Center located in Pi County, Sichuan Province. On December 25, the police presented her family members a detention warrant issued by the Urumchi Municipal Public Security Bureau in Xinjiang Province, saying that Guo Lirong committed the so-called crime of "disturbing the social order." What was inconceivable was that Guo Lirong was staying at home, how could she possibly commit the crime of "disturbing the social order"? In addition, Guo Lirong had never been to Xinjiang Province. It is said that Guo was moved to Xinjiang in January 2003.

Righteous Thoughts and Righteous Actions

I retired in 1997. At that time, my health was in a very bad condition. However, about 20 days after reading Zhuan Falun I didn't cough any more and my asthma disappeared. Since 1999, all the illnesses that I had been previously suffering from completely vanished. In July 1999, Jiang's regime began persecuting Falun Gong, but the deceiving slander and smearing from all outlets of the media could not move my heart. I started talking with people to let them know the truth about Falun Gong, and over the past few years, although I met some people who had been deeply poisoned by the deceiving propaganda, many people believed what I told them. My effort was not in vain and I thought it was worth it, even if only one became aware of the facts and was saved.

A northeast countryside practitioner's experience in safeguarding the Fa: I'm 50 years old this year. After July 20, 1999, I thought that there was nothing wrong with being a good person and all of what the TV reported was false. Later, I got in touch with fellow practitioners. I worked from dawn till night, distributing Dafa truth-clarifying materials door to door. One time, I tried to explain the facts to some people and, as I was doing so, someone reported my actions to the director of the village. Yet, the village director said, "She is not from our village, just leave her alone." On another occasion, as I was pasting truth-clarifying posters at night when a police van passed by. Before it got close to my location, I hid in a stack of brushwood. The police van stopped close to where I was, but they were unable to find me.

Despite the heavy snow and cold winds, Falun Gong practitioners from Toronto, Canada started another round of car tours, visiting city by city and town by town, in order to explain the facts about Falun Dafa to the local media and government officials. All of the government officials and media reporters that we visited were moved by our actions. Likewise, their pure and kind hearts also touched us. Some government officials also personally directed us to other government officials. The officials, upon learning how we drove such a long distance in order to visit them, were very surprised.

News from China

Perception in a dream was not false -- it is hard for an evil person to have a good end: A while ago, I saw a schoolmate's name in the list of evil persons who had participated in persecuting Dafa practitioners. Later, I especially sent forth righteous thoughts towards him. In a dream I had that night, he said to me that he felt pain all over his body and that he could barely endure it. He was unable to go to sleep and asked me to save him. I told him that this was karmic retribution for doing evil deeds. After I woke up from the dream, I wrote a long letter to him, hoping that he would not continue doing those bad deeds any more, all of which would only harm him to the extent that he would have no way out.
