(Clearwisdom.net) One day in 2001, when I was still in the third grade, my teacher asked my class to write an essay that said bad things about Falun Dafa. I said to myself: "I am a Falun Dafa practitioner and I will not write anything like that."
By the following morning, only a few pupils had completed the assignment.
In the afternoon, when the teacher still had not received anything from the rest of us, including another pupil who was also a practitioner, she became very angry and said, "Copy something from the newspaper!" But I refused to do it.
The teacher summoned me and the other practitioner to the office and asked us what our parents did and how long we had been practicing Falun Gong. We didn't answer her. She then reported us to the principal.
On our way to the principal's office, some of our classmates asked us: "Why don't you want to write?" I said, "Falun Dafa is good. I will not write bad things."
In the principal's office, Ms Zhang asked us, "Do you practice Falun Gong?" We said, "Yes." She mentioned the self-immolation incident, so I explained the facts to her. I told her, "We don't set ourselves on fire. Nothing in Zhuan Falun indicates that we should kill ourselves. The report on the self-immolation was false." Then the other practitioner talked to her more about Falun Gong. When the bell rang, Ms. Zhang said to us, "You can go back to your classroom now."
Although my teacher attacked Falun Dafa and me a few more times in class, the other practitioner and I still received the most votes for best student.
Once, the school issued a booklet to each pupil defaming Falun Dafa. I tore out a page as soon as I opened the booklet. When the other practitioner and I got home, we burned the booklets.
From then on, I started to look for more opportunities to clarify the truth to my classmates.
