Negating All of the Old Forces' Arrangements - Individual Dafa Practitioners Should Have Positive Understandings and Actions Regarding Important Matters in the World

(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, the America-led war on Iraq has attracted much attention from the media and people around the world. This has caused certain difficulties in our clarifying the truth. As Fa-rectification disciples, how should we understand the issue?

Master said in the "Explaining the Fa During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference," "So you've seen this, in the last few decades the United States is very powerful militarily, and economically too, and the U.S. always gets involved in addressing a lot of matters, such as the violation of human rights, the violation of freedom of belief, and so on, and maintaining a certain amount of justice in the international community." "Why do those countries that uphold justice turn a blind eye to the Chinese government's persecution of such a large number of grassroots people who are the mainstream society? Why do they keep silent? There are reasons on their part, but there's also interference arranged by the old forces, who make them be busy with the terrorists. That's why terrorists surface every now and then, distract them from time to time, and prevent them from focusing on the true purpose of their existence."

The old forces always arrange many kinds of interference out of their own interests to interfere with the Fa-rectification. Therefore, we should not be affected or be moved by any interference. Instead, we should steadfastly do well in clarifying the truth and saving sentient beings. During the progress of this specific event [war on Iraq], we can turn around to make use of these arrangements by the old forces. We can make use of the media focus to say what we want to say from the perspective of the Fa to clarify the truth of the persecution and the truth of Falun Gong. Besides, since Jiang's regime has also involved itself in this event, we should expose the relationship between Jiang's regime and other state terrorist groups in the international community.

From the "9.11" terrorist attack to the latest Gulf War, it is clear that the old forces are sure to hope for more of such events to happen so that the United States would have no time and energy left to fulfill its duty, such as uniting other countries of the world to denounce the real human right violations in China against Falun Gong by Jiang's regime. The interference is also reflected through lessened attention from the public to the UN Human Rights Committee's condemnation of Jiang's regime for their trampling of human rights. As a Fa-rectification disciple, and as one body of Fa-rectification, regarding important world events yet to occur or are about to occur, we should have righteous thoughts to negate any arrangement of the old forces. Dafa will never be involved in politics and will not take a stand on earthly issues. However, as an individual in society, in the face of an important event that has already occurred such as the war in Iraq, other than taking a simplistic "no comment" attitude, we can of course choose to hope it to end as soon as possible, so that justice and kindness will take its due place in more people's hearts. Even from the principle of the human world, the United States has its reasons to go to war against Iraq in order to maintain world peace. The fact is if one does not want his wrongdoings known to the public, the only way is not to commit such wrongdoings in the first place. Dirty deals between certain political forces in the world and Saddam will eventually be exposed.

Exposing the evil is to strike at the evil. If we take this opportunity of the war in Iraq to expose Jiang's evil nature, the old forces will surely be scared. This also plays a positive role in our truth clarification in the future. The old forces will be scared to see that we make use of their evil arrangements to expose the evil. If we can realize the evil nature in the early stage of major world events and make use of them to expose the evil, we will be negating the arrangements by the old forces, and will be able to turn a passive situation into a proactive one.
