The annual general meeting of the Germany-based International Human Rights Association was held in Frankfurt last weekend [April 1-8 2003]. At the meeting, a Falun Gong practitioner spoke about being persecuted for believing in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" and trying to be good.
The audience was shocked when they heard what practitioner Ms. Dai Zhizhen had to say. Her husband was brutally murdered by the Jiang regime. People were surprised and horrified by the state of human rights in China, that person is subjected to unimaginable and inhumane torture just because he or she wants to be morally decent. Isn't this genocide? Isn't this a crime against humanity?
