(Clearwisdom.net) Today, when I reread "Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Boston," all of a sudden, I had new insight into the following passage and was able to experience and comprehend a new level of Master's immense compassion:
"Of course, I often praise you as well, like 'Dafa disciples are remarkable, magnificent,' and 'You've done so well.' But too many of these words doesn't do you a lot of good. Many times when Master sees that you're doing so well, I keep my happiness for you to myself."
In fact, when we are in the process of safeguarding Dafa, validating Dafa, practicing cultivation, clarifying the truth and offering salvation to sentient beings, if we truly do a good job, it is because our thoughts are assimilating to the principles of Dafa and we are doing the above tasks according to the requirements of the principles of Dafa. It is Teacher who truly enables the success, perfection and harmony of these tasks, and we are benefiting from doing these tasks to cultivate, upgrade, and purify ourselves. However, Master always gives us the greatest glories, recognizes everything that we have done right, and never mentions how much karma that he has dissolved and tribulations that he has endured for us.
The way that Master carries himself and does things is left for us. I recognized that as a Dafa particle, I should assimilate to this great realm. No matter what job and how good a job we have done together with other practitioners in validating Dafa and clarifying the truth, we have to recognize first that it is a result of the mighty power of Dafa and Master's immense compassion, and a result of other practitioners' efforts and assistance -- these come from our hearts and are not mixed with any bit of "self" at all. I think that this is also a manifestation of the realm of selflessness and altruism.
Please compassionately correct any shortcomings in my understanding.
