A Falun Gong Grand Parade was held in Chicago's China Town on June 21, which helped build momentum for the "Global Effort to Bring Jiang to Justice." An old Chinese immigrant who has lived in Chicago almost fifty years said, "These kind of activities should be held all over America and the world, so that all people know how good you are and can see your strength and courage." Amy is a resident from Madison, Wisconsin who came to visit Chicago. She felt very lucky to see "such a graceful and solemn" parade. She believes the lawsuit against Jiang will be the biggest news of the century.
On the evening of June 12, 2003, Falun Dafa practitioners on the island of Guadeloupe in the Caribbean Sea learned that the Chinese Ambassador from France was coming to Guadeloupe Island. The next day, at the airport check-in counter, Dafa practitioners met with the Ambassador. A female practitioner shook hands with him politely, and passed on materials about how Falun Gong practitioners are being persecuted in China, and about the lawsuit against Jiang. The Ambassador's face turned pale immediately. One Chinese guard rushed out and pushed the Falun Dafa practitioners to the side.
The World Journal reported on June 22, 2003 that more than ten officials from foreign consulates in Hong Kong met with the civil representatives, who had initiated a protest against the July 1st Hong Kong Return Anniversary Parade, to learn about the problems in the Article 23 legislation. The Chair of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong wrote to all 60 Legislative Council Members, requesting that they delay voting on the draft of the National Security (Legislative Provisions) Bill. Yale Professor Chen Zhiwu of the Finance Department, who attended the forum on Article 23, pointed out that Hong Kong's economy relies heavily on freedom in the legal system and freedom of information. Article 23 would destroy all of this.

Recently, in a class at a Foreign Language School, a teacher was slandering Falun Dafa and Master while lecturing to students. We should clarify the truth to teachers in China with every possible means, because they have a big responsibility, especially those elementary school teachers. It is almost summer vacation time. I call upon fellow practitioners who have the opportunity to do this, and hurry up and tell teachers and students the facts about Falun Dafa, save these dear, innocent children!
The Truth and People's Hearts
There is an infant girl who had to stay in an incubator after birth. The doctors said she had a heart disease, a lung cyst, and atrophy of the cerebellum. After ninety days of treatment, the doctors told her parents to prepare for her death. Her parents took her home, but she could not breast feed or breathe easily. A neighboring elderly couple in their 70s both cultivate Falun Dafa. They told her parents to read Zhuan Falun or play lecture tapes to her. This girl was miraculously cured, and has been growing healthfully day by day. Her whole family is grateful to this elderly couple. The couple told them, do not thank us, you should thank Master Li, because He is the one who cured the child.
People all say my mother is a nice lady. Following in my footsteps, my parents learned Falun Dafa in 1997. They took initiative in becoming volunteer assistants in our village. After the persecution began, they stopped practicing. On June 8, 2003, I decided to go back to our home village to visit them. We recalled how they obtained the Fa while making lunch, and my mother cried. My father came home in the afternoon, and he found all the Dafa Books they have. Hence, they went back to the bright path of cultivating Falun Dafa.
News from China
On July 21, 1999, on the People's Square in Dalian City, tens of thousands of Falun Dafa practitioners went to appeal individually. The Dafa disciples who came to appeal stood there crowding the streets around City Hall. Around 10:00 a.m., Faluns appeared in the sky. I saw a Falun rotating in front of the sun, blocking the blinding sunlight. Other fellow practitioners saw more magnificent scenes that they described during their later experience sharing.
